  1. I think he will. Look at the facts 1. Barcelona are currently broke. 2. Barca are probably 2-3 "proper" transfer windows away from becoming an elite side again. 3. The Barca hierarchy have elections next summer. To which Messi will be 34 and there is no guarantee Barca will do away with their current incompetent board members. 4. Messi has maybe 2-3 more seasons at the top level. I think given the circumstances, Messi would be wasting his final seasons at Barca.
  2. Right but wouldn't you agree it's much better for all the facts to be presented before immediately jumping on the Racist cop kills black man narrative?
  3. It's getting to a point where these players need to genuinely sit down and start thinking about their careers. Specifically Batshuayi, Drinkwater, Barkley, Zappacosta, Moses, etc. Unless they are willing to take a wage cut, have fun ruining your football career sitting on our bench. Bakayoko and Emerson are already looking to take wage cuts with their moves.
  4. With Pulisic we'd still be at a positive spend at around 20 million. Love the meltdown from opposing clubs thinking we are breaching FFP without looking at any context.
  5. If we are being realistic, neither Silva, Chilwell, or Pulisic will be available here. Azpilicueta will still be evaluated, although I'd start James here anyway given his crossing ability. Havertz will likely come off the bench. Just hope we have a new GK sorted by then. GK James-- Rudiger--Zouma--Alonso Kante---Kovacic Mount Ziyech---------------------Werner Giroud
  6. Haha, this is the best display of red herring I've seen in a while.
  7. Has pros and cons really. Least he'll be match sharp when he arrives. Just hope he doesn't get injured.
  8. €125K per week. Massive pay cut I'd imagine?
  9. Unfortunately, i think the Bayern showing is why I believe the Kante=Kovacic pivot can't work. So imbalanced given neither player will 'sit'. Far too many gaps that were left which led Bayern to walk through the midfield.
  10. Unreal. This surely has to go down as our best ever transfer window?
  11. GK Dave------Silva---Zouma---Chilwell Kante Havertz----Mount Ziyech---------------------Pulisic Werner
  12. Hopefully Thiago Silva wants another shot at the CL and joins.
  13. Anyone have a decent stream? Virtually every one I check is aids.
  14. Virtually anyone who is for football and basic human rights should want a Bayern win...
  15. Maybe Real don’t want to remove the buy back clause
  16. Two other slots, assuming Havertz is purchased.
  17. The midfield situation is still a bit awkward
  18. Yeah I can’t help but feel Jorginho with our attacking options next season will cause serious damage up top.
  19. I'd rather Thiago Silva for a year, on a free, than who we've currently been linked with. It is bar none the most sensible decision that at the very least improves our back line.
  20. Are you serious? For one, his IQ as a central defender is miles above anyone we currently have. He's experienced, can play out of the back, great at set pieces, and most importantly, he's composed. He has all the qualities our current CB's lack. He would not only be a good short fix, but this would free up funds for a GK and LB. Genuinely mystifying there a sum that would be against this
  21. How is it a gamble? We'll have an experienced CB, on a free, to partner our current CB's who are in desperate need of a leader. This will fix our CB issue whilst we focus on bringing Havertz in.
