  1. I’d rest Mount for sure. He loves playing Spurs
  2. Having both Mendy and Silva at the back can give us lots of confidence with the likes of Emerson, Rudiger, Jorginho, or CHO being thrown in.
  3. I don't like celebrating any injury but Alderweireld is unavailable for Spurs. Muscle tear. Only emphasis the importance of rotation. Still think this game would be great for James, Chilwell, Kante, Mount, and Werner to get some rest.
  4. The 4231 just limits the team in general. Doesn't matter who is playing there. Our fluidity in attack is not existent when we have two holding midfielders. If we do get Rice, I hope Lampard tells him he sees him as Kante's successor and that he will be utilized as either rotation or for tactical purposes for the time being.
  5. I’d even sneak Emerson here ——————Mendy—————— Dave—Zouma—Silva —Emerson ——————Jorginho————— ———Havertz———Kovacic—— Ziyech——————————CHO ——————-Giroud—————-
  6. We cannot let these mugs get an early goal
  7. Make your way to the Giroud thread and I’ll let you decide
  8. Yup. Very easy game for Lampard to analyze. Kane always drops deep to begin the transition counter.
  9. This. He dribbles with a lot of pace but his touches are very close to him. Just look at the counter attack for example.
  10. Quite telling we won this relatively easily without even getting out of 2nd gear. Add the kick off time, international break, and the fact it’s our bogey ground.
  11. 3 points here could be the start of a glorious weekend with a few of our rivals facing each other later on.
  12. So now we are moving the goal posts from: Our attack only goes through James, to 90% of our threats come from a James cross and/or Ziyech. Cheers for avoiding my questions by the way. The answer is none. James was involved in 0 goals against sides that were massive shitehouses. 1st goal : West Brom - Mount shot from distance 2nd goal : West Brom - Havertz + CHO link up play. 3rd goal: West Brom - Attack initially came through a CHO pass to the box 1st goal: Palace - Abraham + Chilwell link up 2nd goal: Palace - Chilwell cross to Zouma 3rd goal: Palace - Penalty 4th goal: Palace - Penalty 1st goal: Burnley - Abraham + Ziyech link up 2nd goal: Burnely - Mount corner to Zouma 3rd goal: Burnley - Ziyech + Werner link up 1st goal: Sheffield - Ziyech + Kovacic + Abraham link up play 2nd goal: Sheffield - Ziyech cross to Chilwell 3rd goal: Sheffield - Ziyech cross to Silva 4th goal: Sheffield - Werner one on one.
  13. What goals of those 14 have James been directly involved in?
  14. But that was never the issue last season? The issue was failing to kill games off against teams that played a low block. Our play was very predictable and slow that allowed the opposition to sit back and remain organised. We scored 14 goals against 4 shitehouses in Palace, Burnley, West Brom, and Seffield. Games where we struggled massively last season.
  15. I'm firmly on the Declan Rice train. Seems to have upped his performances the moment he's been linked with us.
  16. It's always funny too because its constantly from the same members.
  17. That's genuinely a sad state of affairs' if someone not only made up the article, but fabricated Messi's quotes.
  18. It's why I believe Giroud is very much a cup player. Both he and Tammy are streaky players but if we can learn from last season we can manage both fairly well.
  19. Sheffield and even the international break shows that Kovacic shouldn't be limited to a holding role. Keep the 433
  20. Nothing at the moment suggests that. It's difficult watching CHO play as its incredibly predictable. He gets the ball, holds on to it for 5 seconds, then recycles it. Until he builds the confidence to actually make runs behind defenders or to take players on, he'll continue being considered the most over hyped youth player on the planet.
