  1. Rory Jennings will defend Lampard even if he burned his house down. Blaming Werner and Havertz for failing to adapt to the league, yet says nothing how the former is constantly played out of position and the latter hardly playing in his strongest position.
  2. The fact people are stating we apparently don't have a better squad than Villa (who was missing Mings, Barkley, and Trez), Wolves (Who was missing Jimenez and Moutinho) Everton ( who was missing both full backs, James, and Allan) and Arsenal (who were practically missing their entire starting XI) when Ziyech isn't in the team, has me for a lost for words.
  3. So you're telling me we can't beat a depleted Wolves, Everton, Arsenal and Villa side without Ziyech? Honestly, I'm done. Keep justifying Lampard's position with utter dross like that as your reasoning. See how far that gets you.
  4. Seriously had it with this argument. Ziyech and Werner trained with the squad since late July. Chilwell is PL proven. Silva is experienced beyond years. Mendy is a GK Havertz is the only exception however he's only played in his strongest position TWICE all season. You don't spend this much money on players without having a plan on how to utilise them all effectively. What we have seen so far is mismanagement of our most expensive assets. That screams inexperience.
  5. But who though? Who's available? Do we go interim or take the risk on Tuchel, who I admit is a bit of a gamble but I reckon he could work wonders with this current team.
  6. Given that City and Morecambe will be likely suspended, I'd be telling Lampard that against Fulham, Leicester, Wolves, and Burnley, his points total should be at the minimum 10. Failure to get 10 points, I'd sack him.
  7. He is strictly result based now. Saw Leicester drew today, thinks the draw tonight is good enough. Sustainability looks to be out the door for him and that is enough for me to turn my back on him.
  8. I rate Tuchel but even I agree he's a gamble considering his history. No guarantees he'll have all the control he wants with us.
  9. Someone be a legend and post his post match. Eager to listen to it.
  10. It's essentially why I was secretly hoping we didn't win tonight. Delaying the inevitable. He and Jody are out of their depth.
  11. I dont expect Klopp like football under Frank and I never will. Just because he is a inexperienced underqualified manager doesn't mean I have to accept these performances from him. We would do much better with a worldclass coach, you've got to admit that. You'd expect a lot of the free flowing football we saw last season was down to Jody and his experience with already working with Mount and Tammy.
  12. That's what happens when you continuously play a player out of position.
  13. Bad taste and incredibly unintentional on my part.
  14. We've entered total capitulation now. Standard.
  15. Whilst we have our most expensive signing ever sitting on the bench while Mount plays his second full 90 in 48 hours.
  16. Don't blame Lampard for taking a job he, we, his mum, and his dog knew he wasn't qualified for?
  17. Because the result isn't the point. It's the performance and whether or not there is genuine improvement from the calamity of the past 5 games. There's been none. Zero.
  18. Look at all them smiling as if they weren't completely embarrassed 48 hours ago. Lampard celebrating like a prat as well given his one game plan has finally delivered a goal after 134 attempts. Not happy at all. Virtually every game we win will feel like this as it with further delay the inevitable.
  19. No. And seeing Lampard celebrate like a little prat does my head in. Who actually is inspired by this? This yet again papering over the cracks of another dreadful collective performance. Virtually ever win feels like a delay in the inevitable. Rather it be done and over with.
