Probably because he's only played for the U23's. Club in desperate need of a LB/LWB and the club are trolling us in signing a LB for the academy.

Newcastle seem firmly keen to bring him in. Very awkwardish style of play. Does remind me of Mbappe in the way he uses his rapid acceleration to pass players though. I like his work rate however up top.

Having 70% of possession and nothing to show for it isn't what I would consider battering them.

We didn't beat them easily. We aimlessly possessed the ball for 180 minutes which was heavily recycled by our attack as there is zero cohesion & understanding with them. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt so let's say in this hypothetical you are right. Tuchel went along with it. But there again shows the problem. Great managers wait for the right target vs go for the wrong one. It boggles me how these same board members who experienced Conte's 2017 disaster window are following the same route for a player who is arguably the pinnacle of a wrong signing for us. Add the fact Tuchel is throwing away a successful formula to shoehorn Lukaku in a system even my dog knows he isn't suited for, begs the question as to why he is doing this.

Getting so sick of hearing that excuse. Why are Havertz, Werner, and even bloody Saul never used? Mount is rotated every other game?

With Tomo now that I will genuinely lose interest if Lukaku is in the lineup.
