I still remember last years' fixture. Bournemouth pressed us and on numerous occasions we had counter attacks that we completely fluffed.
Hoping more like Wolves here finishing wise. Bournemouth will try and press us all game.

For me it did.
Jackson has relatively good hold up play and has a good understanding of working with the other attackers. Guiu just looked lost and our ST presence just became a void. As if we were playing with 10 men. Exactly what happened in the preseason match against City. Just no where near ready.
Going into the season without a clinical #9 would yet again just be poor all around. Guiu coming on for Jackson basically ended the game there.
Yesterday showed yet again that despite how talented Jackson is, he doesn't have those instincts you'd find in a fox in the box striker.
If we can't beat them now then I really am not looking forward to the season.

What the team is lacking at this very moment is a strong CF presence that's dangerous inside the box. I think Osimhen would've saved a lot of dropped points last season. As far as big matches go, I think he's shown enough to be an absolute nuisance for defenders even when he isn't scoring.
He's a player who's overall game isn't the greatest but get this man in the box and create a chance, he'll likely put it away. Almost complete opposites with he and Jackson.
I think with Osimhen we know what we are getting.
Osimhen is a striker that has outperformed his xG for the past several seasons. In essence, literally every expected goal he receives he puts away.
We need a finisher. Not a fan of his overall game but he puts the ball in the back of the net and is a threat inside the box.
Its in the public response about his lack of goals. It will be interesting to see how he does in a more progressive set up vs the counter attacking football that Wolves played.
But again, his quality isn't goals its what he offers with the ball in tight areas that highlights his strengths. Two footed as well.
He's two footed.
It's not the goals it's his technical ability with the ball. Low centre of gravity and a tidy dribbler in tight areas. He's perfect for that isolated winger role in Enzo's system. Can even play centrally too.
He can play all across the attack. I see him starting at LW personally.
Just need to manage his load. Save him for PL only and use Sterling and Mudryk for Conference League and Cup matches.
