  1. we already have multiple unlevel practices, such as some nations requiring release clauses, and other nations not requiring them
  2. Disagree, it DOES have a negative material effect, as the disallowing of longer contract-derived mitigation of FFP strictures precludes previously allowed accounting procedures- Also it is clearly aimed at singling us out, which shows deliberate disparate impact.
  3. We are under NO obligation to pay their taxes. If that was the case Neymar to PSG would have been around €300m. If we pay them 120m euros and Enzo agrees to terms, no way can Benfica block it. They would be instantly in contractual violation and would get crushed in court.
  4. Massive restraint of trade lawsuit inbound. FUCK UEFA.
  5. Wingback, which as you said, makes no sense if we buy Malo Gusto He is NOT a Chels level winger Onana is a much better prospect for DMF
  6. I did not call Badiashile pants. He has been on some of my acceptable CB target lists for years. As for you inferring I, ME, Vesper, am short-sighted, that is utterly laughable. I am one of the most future forward, long term, big picture, risk analysing posters here. I warned on Roman and the club being seized since the Skripal incident, and have been warning about the stadium and its knee-capping us revenue-wise (plus hurting recruitment aiding facilty prestige) for 10 plus years, ages before I ever joined here. I also 100% stand by my big drop off comment.
  7. There are only 3 players (remotely available so no Mbappe or Håland) in Summer 2023 EVERYONE wants: Bellingham Gvardiol Enzo and a 4th that all want except one club on the planet (Citeh, as they have the best CF on the planet and a near WC backup already) Osimhen IF all players on the planet were all available, there are (besides Mbappe and Håland) only a handful of other players that every club would want (almost all are Barca and Real players or soon will be more than likely): Reece (definitely preferred to the 3rd best FB, Hakimi as he is vastly better defensively), Alphonso Davies (the 2 best fullbacks by far on the planet), Vini Jr, and then the Barca/Real MF group of Pedri, Gavi, Valverde, and Aurélien Tchouameni. The only other players would you could stretch and maybe claim next tier down global universal desire status for are Foden, Saka, Musiala, then: Oblak, Cuntois, Ruben Dias, Kane (not higher, due to age), Rodrygo, Rafael Leão, Kimmich, Hakimi, plus atm (they are all ageing), De Bruyne, Lewa, Messi, Neymar, Sarah, and Benz. Nuno Mendes, Bruno Guimarães, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (potentially), and Ronald Araújo are near those, as are Nkunku, Skriniar, Marquinhos, and hopefully Mudryk (eventually). Some of those would not be needed by certain teams, especially a player like Rafael Leão and say Real Madrid, where there is ZERO chance they would carry (eventually as I FULLY belive they get Mbappe eventually) 3 left wingers, all who want to start at LW mainly or only (Mbappe, Vini Jr, Leão).
  8. As I have posted multiple times, The Record is a fake news garbage source. Don Balon or worse level.
  9. Large drop off in quality from Enzo
  10. Fucking multi window criminality that
  11. I have been repping him before Enzo, and he would be nowhere near a crazy price, plus having him doesn't preclude still buying Enzp eventually
  12. 2022-23 English Premier League Manchester City Wolverhampton Wanderers https://www.mysocceraustralia.com/sports/2023/premier-league-manchester-city-vs-wolverhampton-wanderers-s2/ https://www.vipleague.st/manchester-city-vs-wolverhampton-wanderers-2-live-streaming
  13. In theory, and this sounds cray, but if we can beat Spuds and then in the CL, Dortmund twice, we really should be at 11 straight wins going into Brighton at the Bridge and then Manure away. We play so many shit teams over those 11 games coming up.
  14. Silva : Gone in 2 years max, maybe gone summer 2024. 😞 Trevoh should be sold, he is just not good enough IMHO. KK never should have been purchased, let alone given a 4 year £295K PW contract. He needs to go, and we just take the loss. Wesley Fofana will, unfortunately, likely continue to be repeatedly injured. Potentially horrid buy. Hopefully I am dead wrong. Badiashile looks a good buy so far. Very happy with his play. Colwill is yet to become a proven Chels player. Cross that Bridge when we get there. The two main CB targets for me are unchanged: Gvardiol and then Skriniar on a free. I wanted Simakan as well, as he is a good RB as well as CB, buy he just renewed. All three of the left footers (Gvardiol, Badiashile, Colwill) csn all play centre CB in a back 3, and RCB in a back 3 and a back 4. Assuming we get one year more from Thiago, Colwill sticks, and Fofana fully recovers (massive IF), then my ideal August 2024 group of 6 CBs would have been: Gvardiol Badiashile Colwill Skriniar Wesley Fofana Simikan (our backup RB as well, so plenty of minutes for him) But...... The only one of those 6 that is almost for sure likely to be here and playing well is Badiashile, as the others likely will not be purchased/signed (Gvardiol, Skriniar, and Simakan), may not recover fully recover (Fofana), and may not break through Colwill).
  15. Paul Winstanley too, at least atm. Vivell and Winstanley are co directors for transfers atm.
  16. Simple. That post originally was about the bindipper game and was posted in this forum by mistake. Rather than changing it to 'self delete wrong forum' I changed it something relevant for this forum.
  17. 'Now I can speak about him' - Graham Potter breaks silence on Chelsea's capture https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=46150 Manager Graham Potter has broken his silence on Chelsea's capture of talented England U21 international of Nigerian descent Nonso Madueke. The English football tactician did not give much away when he was asked to comment on the imminent arrival of the Super Eagles-eligible player during his pre-match press conference yesterday. Madueke completed his move to the Blues on Friday, signing a seven-and-a-half-year deal, with The Blues holding the option to extend his stay by a further year. The 20-year-old's transfer was not completed in time for him to ne named in the traveling party for the Premier League meeting with Liverpool which ended goalless. Madueke is left-footed, right-sided winger who is also capable of playing as a center forward and attacking midfielder. Asked to share his thoughts on the signing of the young Anglo-Nigerian star, Potter told reporters at his post-match press conference after Saturday's draw at Liverpool : "Now I can speak about him because he’s a Chelsea player. "He’s an exciting player and brings a left-footed attacking option for us and competition in that area of the pitch." Former Tottenham Hotspur U16 captain Madueke is an U21 player so will not take up a spot on Chelsea's Premier League roster for the second half of the season.
