I see them doing a massive turnover (it has already started) Valverde may be sacked (Barca president hinted at that last night) I see the following out (or most of them) 24 Belgium DF Thomas Vermaelen 17 Colombia DF Jeison Murillo (on loan from Valencia) Will be allowed to go back 4 Croatia MF Ivan Rakitić 22 Chile MF Arturo Vidal — Portugal MF André Gomes (on loan to Everton until 30 June 2019) — Spain MF Denis Suárez (on loan to Arsenal until 30 June 2019) — Turkey MF Arda Turan (on loan to İstanbul Başakşehir until 30 June 2020) 7 Brazil AMF Philippe Coutinho 12 Brazil AMF Rafinha (If he is healthy, he will be sold) 14 Brazil RW Malcom (probably sold, not sure on this, AC Milan want to loan him) 19 Ghana MF Kevin-Prince Boateng (on loan from Sassuolo) (will go back) coming in (predicted or already agreed) Matthijs de Ligt Centre-Back Ajax Amsterdam Frenkie de Jong DH DMF Ajax Amsterdam (signed already, Busquets replacement) I predict at lest one, maybe two of the following MF'ers (Rabiot is probably going to Juve) Saúl Ñíguez Central Midfield Atlético Madrid Paul Pogba Central Midfield Manchester United Sergej Milinkovic-Savic Central Midfield SS Lazio Tanguy Ndombélé Central Midfield Olympique Lyon Houssem Aouar Central Midfield Olympique Lyon Nicolò Zaniolo Attacking Midfield AS Roma Pablo Sarabia Attacking Midfield Sevilla FC João Félix AMF/SS Benfica If they go for wingers, I would think they are looking at Hirving Lozano for LW and at RW, Nicolas Pepe (grrr at both, as we all know those are my 2 favourites targets for us, but they are both perfect for Barca too and are cheaper than Martial or Sancho. Sancho and Dembele as their wingers, with Piatek or Griezmann as CF (or even Mbappe in 2 years or so) and Messi as a 10 (I think he can play still he is 35 or 36 or so at a top level there) is fucking terrifying. Suso in the mix too, and AC Milan need to sell a player or two. They still (insanely) want Willian as a backup too. I do NOT see them going for a Neymar return or making a move (this year) for Mbappe. finally at CF I expect one of the following Antoine Griezmann Centre-Forward Atlético Madrid (already turned down, BUT I think they move again) or Krzysztof Piatek Centre-Forward AC Milan or Iñaki Williams Centre-Forward Athletic Bilbao or Alexandre Lacazette Centre-Forward Arsenal FC (I cannot see this but the papers are pushing it hard) they are going to be FAR better next year, with or without Valverde as a manager (probably going to be board-lynched for this, BUT, if I were them, I would grab Poch)

I about lost my shit when I started seeing stories linking us to RYAN FRASER. IF that is the level of player we are going to chase, hello West Ham as competition for 12th place.
-
It started as soon as we won the CL in 2012. It has been a slow, downward grind since then, with only Hazard and Kante as superb intakes. Crazy bad sales, buys, contractual decisions, botched transfers, not backing managers, etc etc.
-
I really wanted spuds and manure in 5th and 6th. Manure complied. Spuds can still go easily now via 4th or 3rd OR A CL final win. I wanted no CL for them to hasten up break up of the team and Poch to leave. Eriksen is going to Real. Hopefully Kane goes soon, to Barca (perfect fit) or PSG or Juve (as Real have Jovic now). All that is needed then is some huge club to pull Son. I would take him IN A HEARTBEAT. Dele Alli is most overrated English player in game atm, other than maybe Pickford. 2 of their 3 starting CB's will probably leave, and Trippier is going to Napoli. I see them in 2, 3 years as a 10th place team as soon as Poch and Kane go. Levy is one cheap fuck, he will never drop hundreds of millions to maintain.
-
CL was ALL (due to bans) about blocking teams (Manure and Arse or Spuds) in trans market and then the extra millions of quid in prize ££££££££.
-
Best part is they still have to LIVE in Merseyside! The cock-block of all time. Only place worse would be Brummie land. Well, tbf, there are a lot of shitholes once you leave London. Lolol.
-
No. We would still have went. Only way doom scenario could have happened is SHITTY BINDIPPERS (or flip for triple gut punch) MANURE CHELS YIDS ARSE (or Arse then yids in 6th) And then yids win CL and Arse EL 6 teams cannot go. So Chels in 4th get the chop. Manure collapse broke up the doom.
-
That disappeared already, thank fuck. That was my doom scenario I have been on for last two months, lolol.

A lot is on Valverde. And that MF, which I have bashing all year, was their downfall. Rakitic has been shit for months, same for Busquets, and Vidal is a joke. All 3 are too old. So is Suarez. I never will give up my overall maxim that post 30yo in todays football, the decline is sudden for 90% of players due to so many games and the pace of those games. They started to fall off early on in season. Valverde should have played Roberto in MF and started Semedo at RB, just to keep pace level up. True collapse (maybe worst game I have seen him play in 5 years) by Jordi Alba, who after Messi has been their best player all year. He was just shambolic, as was Pique, who has had his best season in years, but again is old and fading. Coutinho was INVISIBLE. Pure pressure choke. Shameful performance. Valverde got his arse handed to him by a VASTLY superior, WC manager in Klopp.
-
Let's not get carried away, they are massively improving the team this summer.
-
No bliss here. Ffs. Maybe scousers v yids final. That is a guaranteed summer of hell.
-
Barca has become the new PSG. Run away with league and then insane chokes most every year in CL.
-
One Ajax fail away from the worst possible, out of hundreds of teams, CL final in my life. Just gutted.

I watch the yank stream to avoid the wankfest, still have Brit presenters, but so much less bias

FUCK THE BINDIPPERS

Matt Law's Chelsea briefing A new ambassador for Chelsea By Matt Law Football News Correspondent Ruben Loftus-Cheek signing autographs ahead of the Chelsea versus Watford match on Saturday (Credit: Getty) Ruben Loftus-Cheek has proved his importance to Chelsea on the pitch by winning the confidence of head coach Maurizio Sarri over the past month. And Loftus-Cheek is also showing he will have a big role to play off the field for the Blues, as the midfielder continues to impress. Having scored his ninth goal of the season during the victory over Watford in what has turned around to become a hugely successful personal campaign for Loftus-Cheek, the midfielder happily stopped to chat to the Press afterwards. He even cracked a joke by pretending to be on his mobile telephone, as reporters waited to speak to him, before admitting there was nobody on the other end and talking for well over 10 minutes. This may not seem too important to the average fan, who, understandably only cares if Loftus-Cheek delivers on the pitch, but it is hugely important to Chelsea. Gary Cahill’s Stamford Bridge farewell marked the end of an era of Chelsea players who represented the club with pride both on and off the pitch. The likes of John Terry, Frank Lampard, Petr Cech, Didier Drogba and Cahill were all excellent ambassadors for Chelsea through the good and the bad times. That generation was always going to be difficult to replace, but Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and even Thibaut Courtois took on the responsibility of fronting up the Press after many of the Chelsea legends had departed. David Luiz can be engaging company, but the Brazilian tends to only stop and talk when it suits him rather than the club. Similarly, the likes of Willian and Pedro pick and choose their times. With Courtois and Fabregas already gone, Hazard set to follow and Cahill leaving, there is a real fear over whether or not Chelsea will still have a strong dressing-room voice from next season. But Loftus-Cheek is certainly proving to be a more than able talker and there is genuine hope that he can be one of the main faces of the club for years to come. Laid back and intelligent, Loftus-Cheek has represented Chelsea superbly this season and did not let his frustration at not playing earlier in the campaign get the better of him. It now seems the 23-year-old will not only be a regular starter, but also a regular stopper in the Chelsea mixed zone.

Even if we just extend his loan for the full 18 months, that is £43m in fees and wages total! For a bloody year and half with zero ownership! That's fucking bonkers.
-
Cant see them going for both Bruno Fernandes AND Felix. That will be close to £200m for the pair. They really need a LB (Pep is, however apparently going to roll dice on Mendy and his meh backup options) and a new WC DH DMF. Also they need another WC CB. They are loaded elsewhere.

Without anything to do with Higs they already are the worst. Hundreds of millions in lost player revenue, shit buys, multiple botched transfers, horrific sales, absolute shambolic contract management, and corrupt rule breaking that will cost us dearly, and isn't even done being exposed, as new illegal shit is now coming out. Joke puppets.
-
If we perma signed Higs , so 3 more years after that, until summer 2022 he will have cost us EIGHTY-SEVEN MILLION POUNDS for 3 and half years (his end of career years unless he goes and cashes in in the US or China) of fees and wages, and at end he is worth NOTHING that is fucking madness Piatek, for 4 and a half years, all fees and wages, would have cost a total of £38m and would be only 27 when his last season under that (2022-23) ended, and probably worth between £90m and £120m if he is even scoring 17 to 27 or so goals all comps each year and people still question why I call the board literally the worst in the top 30,40 teams of world football

Kante is out, probably for the rest of the year (MAYBE he makes the EL final if we get there) Rudiger out (obviously, he may not be ready for start of next season) CHO obviously done until December or so, maybe even January 2020 Ampadu is out for the year (has been) Cahill is probably out Willian is carrying a slight knock Eintracht Frankfurt get Rebic back from suspension, and Evan N'Dicka (their best CB, 3rd best under 20yo CB in the world, after de Ligt and Ibrahima Konaté and a SERIOUS wishlister of mine, along with Konaté) is now almost fully fit, Haller is still questionable (has been out for awhile with abdominal strain). So is Rode (toe, but far more likely than Haller) It is not going to be easy at all due our horrid run of injuries the last couple weeks we literally have only 2 CB's (Azpi in a pinch makes 3, but that means Zappacosta at RB, eeeek) we only have one b/u MF (the one who doesn't start between Barks, RLC, and Kovacic, I would guess Barkley is on the bench, as RLC and Barkley together is very weak defensively) and we only have 1 b/u winger (if Willian is healthy, otherwise none) IF Sarri can pull off 3 straight wins (and thus 3rd place AND the EL trophy) with this decimated team I am NOT going to say shite when he comes back next year (for months, as I have almost no hopes for anything other than 6th or 7th due to losing Eden , the CHO and Rudiger injuries, and of course, the bans) Our team now only has 4 WC (meaning top 20 at their position) players Kepa (I rate him 6th or 7th best keeper) Rudiger (the lowest on here, probably top 20, but not top 15) Kante (Best trad DMF in world, and even out of position a huge weapon) Hazard (2nd best true LW in world, after Neymar) Mbappe now plays CF mostly, Messi floats, impossible really give a true position and two are out, lol Eden is our only remotely WC outfield player left (RLC probably will get there hopefully, but he certainly is not a top 20 AMF atm, top 30 or 35, yes, overall, on his day and if health soon can be top 20) to win the EL, we are going to need massive step-ups from AC, Emerson or Alonso, Kovacic, plus either Willian or Pedro and either Higs or Giroud, AND Eden to go wild in his last 3 gmes (well the EL ones at least)
-
Bats has been horrid other than that short Dortmund spell. If we renew Higs for a full year that is litterally almost £25m down the shitter in loan fees and salary for just the 12 months. Could have bought 30 goal Piątek outright for £31m. Piątek salary is £1.5m per year. Higuain's is £14m! He is making only £30K PW less than the monster contract we offered Eden. Higuain is the 4th highest paid player in the EPL. LOLOL. 1 De Bruyne 2 Alexis 3 Pogba 4 Higuain 5 Özil
