fuck Scott McLachlan, he was a major driver behind Drinkwater, Baba, Emerson, Zappacosta, Bakayoko, Morata, etc I remember reading long ago (I will try and find it) he was against signing Kante and was overruled I wager he helped to block a shit tonne of sales of dregs too Chelsea’s Recruitment Troubles https://allthingschelsea.blog/2019/04/16/chelseas-recruitment-troubles/

his price now he will be sold for will be close to half or 2/3rds max what it would have been pre-COVID although he is right-footed LW, and we have two of those (4 counting Pedro and Willian, but they are gone soon) already the only right footer who is arguably better at the RW than the left that we are linked to or have is Sancho, and he is great at LW as well I am not sold at all than either Pulisic or CHO are better on the RW than the LW we already have a wicked crosser now on the RW in our RB, Reece crossing is the main thing that like for like helps for a winger, ie right footer can better cross from the right than the left but scoring, it is fairly rare now to see a right footer who is better scorer on the right Sancho has a decent left foot, so he can score from the right or the left fucking sucks that all humans are not ambipedal

it is like a Gothic temple of stone, an ode to England, football, the Lions of London modern and yet ancient intimidating as well truly a work of integrated art on most all levels, a radiated sense of persistence and a continuity with the past of of our island home, reaching back into the mists of time far beyond 1905 it looks.................... like victory

oh yes, overall I agree in MF we need a DMF, a real cruncher who also can pass well and play in a two man pivot Kante is refusing to play NOW, and it isn't like COVID-19 is going to be better in the fall and winter UNLESS there is a vaccine, and that, despite all the hype, is unlikely (the quickest ever in history took 4 years) This is due to what is almost always the case with pandemics, a 2nd wave he (Kante) could well and truly fuck us and just refuse to play period (I do not think he is that insane, but who knows) plus we are talking about (supposedly) sell Jorginho to Juve I so want Tonali he is a fucking badass and very physical, far more than Pirlo was (NOT saying he is even remotely near at all to Pirlo as of now) plenty of other doable DMF options too Thomas Partey, Florentino, Camavinga, Denis Zakaria, even the hated on (and I admt, too expensive now with COVID affect our revenue) Declan Rice (who I rate a CB more than DMF anyway), also even Lampard's (again supposedly) target of Soumare, who I am not sold on, plus the likely too expensive as well Ndidi and of course we have Ampadu and Conor Gallagher as well to weigh into the equation

completely agree except one small thing I saw almost nothing 'compromised' about the monster we had on the planning board it would have been (until Barca and Real did their billion euro renovations) the best football only stadium on the planet, IMHO the fucking thing made me wet, lololol it was a bloody work of art THAT is what makes it doubly hard to take FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

we got JACKED!!!!!!! we would have won the title, if we had played the next game, as we had a game in hand on Shitty just a draw would have worked as we have Shitty on GD the game was against a meh Everton side too GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ffs they need to go to points per game for the title as so many teams are on different numbers of games played

NOT CHO I do not know if thsi has already been posted, it is the first I heard about it Premier League ace accused of gang rape at lockdown party as woman claims drink spiked EXCLUSIVE: The woman at the centre of the complaint has been interviewed by detectives. It comes days after Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi was accused of rape in an unrelated alleged incident https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league-ace-accused-gang-22076060 A Premier League footballer has been accused of taking part in a gang rape at a lockdown party. It comes just days after Chelsea player Callum Hudson-Odoi, 19, was accused of rape in an unrelated alleged incident. The woman at the heart of the new complaint claims her drinks were spiked with drugs. She also believes she may have been assaulted by “a number” of the star’s friends. The alleged incident came following a lockdown-busting party in a rented flat. The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, complained to officers the day after the alleged attack. She was interviewed by detectives and has been examined by forensic medical staff as well as by doctors. Detectives have launched an investigation into the alleged incident. They would not comment on if the player had been interviewed yet. A friend of the woman said her pal had no recollection of the night’s events. snip

You missed the one I would be most interested in (if we failed on Aouar, and IF we even go for a CMF, which is not for sure) Arthur I deffo rate him Trincão also is an interesting one (poor man's João Felix) massive talent, young, could replace Willian if we don't go for Sancho, but only if a GREAT price, I mean cheap AF, which Barca will not do on him, they just bought him there are others though I would much more go for than him

I love Atleti by far my favourite La Liga team then Athletic Bilbao, most unique team in Big 5 football, stubborn as fuck, just like me, lolol, just like Atleti too I love smashmouth defensive brutal counter attacking footie like Simeone plays I am a dinosaur like that, lolol I love how it offends the snowflakes who want Tiki-taka possession based pinball footie or der KloppenFührer gegenpressing with my mouth, if we lived in Madrid, I am sure I would be in deep shit with some Real cunts, lololol I sooo hate them

If it was a PR ploy to tempt buyers, he sure as hell did a lot of work and spent a shedload of time and cash on it I am going to chose to believe it was the fucking government banning him (in reality) from coming into the UK as the reason and that just makes yet another reason for me to hate fucking Trump, as it all skewed off that Jim Ratcliffe went into great detail as to why he decided not to buy us, and central to it was the stadium cost AND the length of time (a big fuck off to the Rugby Football Union over telling us to piss off in re Twickenham) we would have been scrambling for a temp home pitch if not for COVID-19, in 2 to 4 years we would have been (as I have painstakingly detailed multiple times) the ONLY top 30 football club in europe without a large new/relatively new modern stadium, or one that had been massively renovated and expanded it will be interesting to see which clubs bail on their new stadiums due to COVID-19 financial issues I have little sympathy for them in regards to that, because we were already in the same boat even before the virus

that horrid Mou last season, 2015-16, Mou ran a clearly still injured Ivanović into the damn ground. he played almost 4000 minutes as a 31/32 yo who clearly was not fully healthy a lot of the time, grrrrrr arrrf, that season still haunts me all round

young yes, but many already have a lot of top flight experience as starters and it is starting in 2021/22 so yet another year before it was completed it isn't like Brugge or a Lille where you have 19, 20, 21 year olds with almost no true topflight experience despite many of them having huge potential talent at the start of the 2021/22 season, this would be the number of years starting at a topflight club they would have GK Ugurcan Cakir (3 years) or Predrag Rajkovic (7 years) LCB Gabriel 2 and a half years RCB Upamecano 5 as a starter LB Theo Hernandez 5 years as a starter RB Reece 2 or 1 and a half to get picky (I am not counting anything before as it wasnt top of the pyramid play) DMF Tonali or Camavinga (paid for via Jorginho sale) 4 or 2 Box to Box Gilmour one and a little more (Kovacic will play a lot here) No. 10 Havertz almost 5 full years LW Sancho 3 and a half RW Ziyech 8 years CF Werner 8 years plus you have old heads on the bench or as rotational starters GK Vicente Guaita or Martin Dúbravka CB Rudiger LB Alex Sandro RB Azpi CMF Kovacic (10 years at that point, as a top flight starter, 8 and a half of it at Big 5 level) even Puli will have 5 years deffo NOT a team loaded up with rookies or 1 year players

Mbappe's salary demands are a deal breaker. I gave up trying to make it work. He would cost around 400m to half a billion quid en toto over 5 years (that is a per-COVID valuation) when fees and wages, etc are totaled up. Our fate with the Mbappes of the world was sealed when Roman pulled the plug on the new stadium, which would have given us an extra £50m to £75m (or more) per annum in pure new revenue to play with.
