  1. the good thing is that Silva hates to play in a back three and Luiz is only good in a back three as the centre CB nowadays so zero chance Luiz can swing him to Arse (if that is even a thing, which I doubt, they have shitty EL next year)
  2. I will take that 2009/10 team level of relaxed all day long, lolol truly was a glorious side to watch my teenie years, sigh
  3. this is great news in the Book of Vesper he is one of the worst CB's they had been linked with I owe some on this board for this viewpoint,, as they made me go do a deep dive on him his lack of pace is not a good thing
  4. If Ampadu is going to make it, i see him as a DMF more than a CB, at least at the present
  5. Kimmich would be close to the top of first players I would grab off that team though fucking love him as a player, and he only turned 25 six months ago, seems like he has been around for 10 years
  6. another move I really question was Draxler on and not Sarabia, who has been brilliant in mutiple games I have watched him thsi year Sarabia was tracking to 24 goals and 14 or so assists or so over a full seasons minutes Draxler is not at all a poor, player, he himself produced 7 goals and 6 assists in only 1100 minutes, but still, Sarabia is the better player, more likely to set up a goal or score one strange subs
  7. not cup tied at all he played a lot for PG in the CL this season but ONCE since December 12 goals in only 19 league games and only 14 of those games were starts the bloke had 20 goals, 4 assists in only half a season's minutes baffling he is a proven goalscorer for ages and it isn't like PSG play a game where he needs to be a stand up, bruising target hold-up man, like a Giroud
  8. goofy players and Bayern are not usually in the same sentence, but it is very true they have almost no player who you would put into the 'pure prick' category Manuel Neuer at times, but even he not an ogre, at least IMHO, I am sure many will disagree he is just very entitled, which, at his level, you can afford to be
  9. Tuchel fell victim to the 'lightning strike' fallacy he though because the dreadful Choupo-Moting (and he is dreadful, make no mistake) had scored the winner before that it would happen again and he left a massive striker on the bench in Icardi who specialises in late goals, as I said before that and not starting Verratti, who has been magnificent all season, just world class surely he is going to be thinking these two things for years and deep down, even moreso, thinking... Neymar.................WTF!!!!
  10. thread winner if ever their was one!!!!
  11. I love both teams, so not upset at the outcome, although i feel bad for Thiago Silva as what a shit way to go out on your last game hope this doesn't change PSG's mind
  12. Or a Conte Geeee, what do those 3 have in common? It is one the tip of my tongue..... Smdh
  13. I always like the towering operatic dominance aesthetic Lolol
  14. It is the beginning of the end of August And we can FINALLY say goodbye to the 2019/20 footie season Madness
  15. it is a rare thing, unfortunately many managers are loved by the players but NOT respected you have to maintain some distance or you become just a big brother or the leader of a gang of kids
  16. only one PSG player had a poor defensive game Kehrer and that was all it took all the rest were actually quite good Thiago Silva was massive, and their MF was not bad in defence, (passing, well eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek)
  17. I cut Mbappe a lot of slack, as he was clearly not even close to being fully fit but Neymar, just wow smdh that was a top ten worst CL final performance by a top ten player on the planet in fact I would say top 5 or even top 3 worst performance
  18. deffo for once though, we can say the two best teams did play in the final there is no way I am going to slate off PSG this season and say the dippers or Shiity were better overall, as they both got hammered when they faced euro tests
  19. even Tuchel to a point, as this PSG team was the closest to a 'team' I have seen from them in ages but Neymar chose the worst possible night to do a runner from the cohesiveness concept
  20. when German managers are good man managers, they are world class Klopp is the same, and Nagelsmann is well on his way the players will run into machine gun fire for them
  21. ahhhh, oki you are our Hessian Chelsea stalwart, lolol your countrymen helped the yanks kick our arse in the American Revolution
