  1. Modric scored only 3 goals playing for Madrid. Rakitic only 3 playing for Barcelona. Clubs that will slaughter almost everybody in their leagues. You see this talk about "end product" at any EPL football site In general in other leagues fans will demand goals/assists only from the front three, because is better line up the midifield with players that can control a football when marked and can dictate the tempo. Not saying that Kovacic os this player yet, but its obvious that when he was subbed off Chelsea lost the midfield to an awful United. This idea of a midfielder scoring a lot of goals is a 4-4-2 mentality and only leads to frustation like Pogba at United.
  2. Shocking. Trying to save some centimeters from the off side line to compensate for his massive slow fat ass.
  3. Played well imo. You only need to see how the team lost the ability to play from the back with him subbed off.
  4. The only way he can be effective is if you give him the entire left side of the pitch. The full back will always look worse with him there, the left midfield will struggle. I think is similar case to Dybala. You need to adapt everything to play him. Its not worth it. At least Dybala is a wc finisher. Look Pogba at United: if the team is doing well he will play well. If the team is not working you never see him in the pitch. Exactly the same with Coutinho.
  5. I like him a lot. He tends to score/assist in pretty much all big game. And he scores important goals like the draw against Juventus in the first leg. I think he only started 9 games in his position in the RW this season but scored 5 and 2 assists. He is not fully developed yet but he is a Douglas Costa with end product and not injury prone.
  6. Its possible to change my nick name? Just in case.
  7. Feel sorry for the kid of course. But in the case of the English nt they have far better wingers in Sterling and Sancho.
  8. Its not Allegri's fault. What i mean by tactical reasons is that Dybala is not a winger or really a midfielder. He is a ss or an old fashion 10, but reality is his position do not exist in the modern football anymore so the coach will need to adapt the entire system to use him. If you put him in the wing he will not be able to defend and his pace is not high level. As midfielder lets pick Barcelona as example: Dybala can not replace Rakitic or Arthur, and let alone Busquets obviously. He would demand a free role like Messi, what no big club will give him. Like Coutinho maybe he can play in the middle but not against strong opposition. The advantage Dybala has over Coutinho is that he is a much more letal goal scorer, so many times he can get way with the tactical nightmare that he is. If a manager thinks he is worth to build a team surrounding him you probably could make it work with flexible tactics playing Dybala behind two strikers or as ss. I think he would be excellent at Tottenham under Pochettino for example. But once you shift to 4-3-3 or any formation with 3 up front he will be a problem again. Dont get me wrong he is a very talented player and i would sign him. But never to replace Hazard.
  9. He can't replace Hazard in the same role. He is made to play as ss but his natural position is almost nonexistent these days. What is a shame because he is one of the most talented players in the worls but is always struggling to stablish himself ar Juve due to tactical issues.
  10. Also Real Madrid will move to another target and maybe in the summer window they are not after Hazard so we can convince him to sign a new contract if things are going well for Chelsea.
  11. Avoid a transfer ban, buy Felix, Bruno Fernandes, Piatek and keep Hazard. That would be a good year.
  12. The majority of new wingers, full backs, goalkeepers and CBs that are going straight from Brazil to Europe are playing well. But midfielders have a huge rate of failure for some reason. Atletico Paranaense have a full back named Renan Lodi(20) who i think has a lot of potential. I would prefer to take the risk with him.
  13. Umtiti is far better than Lenglet imo. But i suspect he is injury prone and this is why they would probably get rid of him if they find some english board dumb enough to pay a ton of money.
  14. I like the pankakes. Can't eat it though. I'm 10 kilos overweight in the moment.
  15. He is in a position now similar to Malcom at Barcelona. In other words, he never plays but if he gets some random oportunity needs to do everything right. Its impossible to analyse players in this context. You need to give him at least 10 games in a row to take any conclusion.
  16. Maybe there is a chance to appeal? Because Piet de Visser(senior scout) was talking about some interest in Ajax winger David Neres and i can't see the point if Chelsea will not be able to sign players in the next windows.
  17. At least City will get a two windows ban too. Apparently.
  18. I think Chelsea needs to be creative. Try to find players that you can see are already good and can develop under the right system but still are not considered world class so will be not so expensive. Like Salah and Mane when Liverpool signed them. A lot of people were saying they were not good enough. Even in Liverpool forums. There are players like Kieran Tierney full back from Celtic that i belive can be a top player. I know people will say hahaha its the Scotish league but that is exactly my point. Also Chelsea needs to fix the strategy in South America. For example Barcelona signed Arthur for $30 millions. It would be amazing Kante-Arthur in midfield. Porto signed Eder Militao for €7 millions few months ago. Now they sold him for €50 millions. Once the players are already in europe they become suddenly expensive even if they are playing exactly with same level. Also you always see italian clubs picking some of the best argentinian prospects and they are not paying big money.
  19. Can't take seriously majority of those former players working as pundits tbh. In the world cup 2014 Roberto Carlos was commenting for a Brazilian tv. In the past i thought he was smart. But my gosh he is so dumb. So dumb. He was saying absurd things like "the German team had no flair or skils and could not play passing football like the Brazilian team"(2014) when it was obvious the German players were more skilful. Those former players in general only repeat platitudes and things they think are the average opinion. It seems to me that they have a standard position about players to relief them of the obligation of actually pay attention in every game.
  20. Were those links with Barca real? Why he never looked too excited about that if he is not even a guaranteed starter here? I'll tell what, i believe there is a colossal comfort zone at Chelsea and players feel they are in charge of the club. No coach will survive for a long time in this environment.
  21. “Jorginho here, okay look forward, don’t do what you’re going to do here, take a touch and then go back because that will suit Wolves. It was no change in the second half either. Sideways. Backwards.” That was really lazy and stupid from Shearer. Jorginho made some excellent passes in the first half. I remember one to Pedro and another to Higuain that could lead to a goal. It was one of those days that if he was playing for City or if it was Hazard in those positions he would end the first half with two assists Also he made at least 4 more passes between lines in the first 40 minutes that created space for a teammate to make an assist. Then when things are not going well and the team is losing, any ball he loses, any mistake will give people a chance to trash him. He played well in the last games.
  22. I know Chelsea do not sign straight from South America unless it is to loan players forever, but the board could take a look in Everton, winger from Gremio. He is an upgrade in Willian much better finisher and already replaced Willian in the Brazilian NT. Players from Gremio are cheap because they dont have too much media there. He probably would cost 25/30 millions.
