I wouldn't be suprised if we signed another central midfielder, but I think that might be to switch more between 3-5-2 and 3-4-3 next season. In a 3-5-2 formation Fabregas would start everytime.

I would only consider selling him if we bought Isco or Verratti as a replacement. We need to have atleast one creative option in our central midfield, because there are to many teams in PL that are happy to "park the bus" and get one point of us.

VVD wins close to twice as many aerial duels compared to Cahill, his pace also helps him cover a bigger area in defence, it makes it easier for the tactics to work.

Yes, if you put a big and fast VVD in our defence, who wins 75% of his headers it will improve.

Just buy VVD and bring back Christensen. Azpilicueta, Luiz and Cahill can battle for the last spot.

The problem for Zouma is that his positioning, awerness and technical ability is very limited. VVD has alot more to his overall game and he uses his size to better effect.

Dele Alli came from league one two seasons ago, so I don't think it matter that much where VVD came from. He has been one of the best defenders in PL these last two seasons, he has superior physical attributes compared to our defenders and he is comfertable with the ball. I don't mind Christensen comming back and I think he has a good chance to win one of the starting spots against Azpilicueta, Cahill and D.Luiz next season. I don't think it would be wise to fill our squad with "academy products" in desperation of having one make it though, the timing have to be right, like it was for Courtois.

We have had an amazing run before christmas, but in the last 11 league games we have conceded atleast one goal, wich is a cause for concern. I don't think there is a problem to buy what we need, if we sell Costa to China, sell Batshuayi, add the transfer fee from Oscar and our increased income from sponsors, CL money etc.

Ake was standing next to Kane when he scored with his head (1-1). Luiz and Cahill struggled alot with Benteke, Zaha, Rashford etc in our latest games.

I think there are way to many PL teams with big physical strikers, or other target men, that would bully that defence. Thats why we need someone like VVD to balance it out.

I think we need more physical/athletic players, not fake ones like Matic.

The idea is that Pedro would be the false 9, his movement off the ball is superb and he is always looking to get behind the defence.

We have beaten Leicester and Bournemouth 3-0 with Hazard-Pedro-Willian and played good attacking football. There is no excuse to continue to play Costa in this form atm.

Belotti does alot more work for his team compared to Lukaku, thats one of the biggest diffrences. We need a striker that can help put pressure on defenders when needed, that can hold onto the ball and distribute it with precision. I also like Belottis aggression/warrior mentality compared to Lukakus tendencies to blame teammates and sulk when things dosen't go his way. Hazard-Belotti-Sanchez || Pedro-Willian I would be very happy having these attacking options for next season. Both Sanchez and Pedro can do a job as striker, when we are resting Belotti. There is also the option to play 3-5-2 at times, if we add another central midfielder like Fabinho to our squad. That would give us countless options.

I think we would be better off with Hazard-Pedro-Willian, if Costa continues with these performances.

United wanted to buy Willian for £60m last summer and China might also be an option for him. £50m is nothing these days, I would be happy to pay it for Sanchez.

I think Lukaku would be warming the bench for Real Madrid as well. There is also a big chance Morata would have better assist/goals numbers, if you gave him the same amount of minutes as Lukaku, because he has better numbers per minutes these last three seasons in the league. I also like the fact that Morata is more technical and a better linkup striker compared to Lukaku/Costa. Ideally we could buy Morata + Sanchez this summer and not be far off an overpriced Lukaku.

He is slow like Matic, takes to many touches before he finds a teammate. Fabinho is the one we should be after, he is quick in all aspects of his game and have the physical attributes as well.

I see from the opening post that he was wanted as a right back option for Ivanovic, but since then he has become a really superb central midfielder. It's very rare you have such a big and athletic midfielder be quick with both his mind and feet. You could compare him to other big midfield enforcers like Matic, Bakayoko and Dembele, but Fabinho don't waste much time on the ball like the others and he is much faster at closing players down. His long range passing and crossing is also great, he was the one that made that longe range cross for Falcaos first goal against Man City (first leg). He also assisted Mbappe from a freekick, a long ball pass from central midfield. In the second leg against Man City he got his goal as well, with an excellent late arrival into the box. He has been very good this entire season for Monaco, whocored has him as their highest ranked player for a reason. The fact that he can also play as a right wing back, when Moses is injured, just highlights him even more on my must buy players list.

What we need is Sanchez, Ghoulam and Fabinho. They wouldn't cost a fortune either, because both Sanchez and Ghoulam only have 1 year left on their contract this summer. Fabinho is a quicker version of Matic and have been Monacos best player this season. Ghoulam is quicker then Alonso and is alot better at passing/crossing the ball. Sanchez, Hazard and Costa would be the best attacking trio in the league by far. Sanchez would also be a good backup for Costa as our main striker. 352 is a very good plan B. We have used it several times this season, last time was against West Ham in the second half. It gives us better control in midfield and provides more cover when we play Fabregas.
