You are entitled to your own opinion. But now you're full of shite. Our whole squad was shaky against ManCity, bad against Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham. He still is the best defensive midfielder in the league. Has won us many, many points.
-
Well...they now have Wilfred Ndidi who is rumoured to be Kanté 2.0...
-
Oh look it's a "You can't be serious, right?" guy. Again, Hector for Alonso: much of a muchness.
-
Indeed manpe. Glad to see some users here with some sense in them. Why would Real sell us James when they can still use him in the Copa Del Rey, La Liga and UCL? This is the window you bring in back-up players, not big names.
-
Yes but you can rage what you want about it here on this forum, or tweet about it like that guy constantly does: it won't change anything. Conte isn't a user here, Roman isn't and so on. This is the winter transfer window my man. That's a total different window than the summer one is. There won't be a headline in january that say's "Gareth Bale has joined Man Utd" or something like that what you might see in FIFA or Football Manager. You are mostly linked with young players or back-up players in this window. For example: Kessie is a young player we are linked with and so is Fernando Llorente as a bench/back-up player. There was a total meltdown here last summer back when I was still a lurker and sometimes it was hillarious to see those meltdowns of some users here. I do understand it a bit as we ended 10th, but still people need to calm down. You won't change anything at Chelsea from Twitter or this website.
-
Like this guy on Twitter, 25k followers and a nice guy to follow overall, but just doesn't seem to understand how the whole transfer thing works. Claims all big names are available in january. Yeah right. "Suarez was available to Liverpool some years ago" he told me. Mate Suarez came from Ajax who are a small European club nowadays who sell against any price. This sounds familiar no? These people on Twitter raging against the club for not trying to sign uh let's see Griezmann or James (who I don't even want at Chelsea) or what the fuck, why don't we try to bring Lionel fucking Messi to the Premier League! But also some users here at this forum with this bullshit that we are going to miss out on the title for not trying to ge these big names in. You are making me Tired with yes, a capital T. Still remember this Ruud Gullit Dutch guy on TalkChelsea doing the same. Embarrassing. Please don't be like this Carefreedaily guy. Have some patience and some common sense. This isn't FIFA. Thank you.

Liverpool comes close? But Spurs surely got a better squad than Liverpool. Definitely the Spurs defence and midfield over the 'Pool one. Spurs play pressed, tactical football whereas Liverpool plays workrate running football imo. That's the one and only thing I admire about Spurs and mostly Pochettino.
-
Nathan Gullit is back. Hopefully the first Dutchman to really add something to the squad at Chelsea since Robben... Did good at Bournemouth but I don't think he's up for it but I hope so...for him but also for us Dutch as the Dutch team has shit left backs since Gio van Bronckhorst retired.
-
*facepalm* We got Baba on loan, bought Alonso in the summer and got Aké back who can also fill in the LWB position. Jonas Hector...my god. Absolutely not an upgrade to Alonso OR even Baba. Type of player Liverpool would buy as he is mediocre at best.
-
Poor or not, if we play against them as how City played against them or how we played against Spurs they will f#ck us.
-
IF Conte wants to go 3-5-2 next season or any season with 2 strikers...or just getting another striker in. Who do you guys think/hope we get? I fear that Griezmann as a possible target being pretty much ManUtd bound if you ask me. Not many other good, free options... And yes, in a 3-4-3/3-5-2 system, Baba should get a chance.
-
Until he turns out to be Lukaku 2.0 who we could still use nowadays... But yes, atm, he is not good enough. If he truly was, Conte would sub him on earlier for Diego and he would've started against Bournemouth. Oh, don't leave man
-
(I did fall for it on Twitter though.)
-
It's done. lol

I will be visiting this away game as well like our previous one at White Hart Lane...hopefully a better result than that game. I don't want to start a topic IN a topic, but still... I’ve been visiting Chelsea at Stamford Bridge for over a decade now, as well as many away games. Last away game at WHL when we went 2-0 down to Spurs and there was an Englishman sitting next to me yelling and saying disgusting things to our players, the referee, even Conte etc. That after 13 wins in a row. Of course, I ignore these fools but it started to ignore me so I told him to cool down. Get behind the team, don’t be a plastic. Then he told me to STFU as I’m not even English so I have no right to share my opinion as a non-UK Chelsea fan. Hahahaha. What a muppet. Not every fan is like this I know but I have come tot he conclusion that we really have a lot of idiotic, plastic leech fans. Also, there is well counted 1 Englishman in our starting XI, which is Cahill, the rest, including the manager is al non-UK. Pretty dumb thing to say...what a wally. So, hopefully 3 points AND better away support this time around. Come on you Blues!
-
The main problem at this football club summed up. (next to our shit support)
-
What a beast. He would be perfect for Conte.
-
I can't be mad at the club for buying a young guy who has some potential but they should've reviewed the decision to buy Michy with Conte. Because it looks like the club didn't do that. Conte didn't want Batshuayi. He was Italy manager at the time we signed Michy and when Conte started working as Chelsea manager Twitter was full with reports about him wanting Morata, which Morata confirmed to be the case some time ago.
-
I really don't understand what Conte wants in terms of transfer business. Really vague. Michy for Llorente is much of a muchness...
-
The lad is done I think. It's pretty sad how it all goes for him. He isn't that active anymore on social media and his body language during the game speaks for itself. Not celebrating his goal. No need to over-celebrate but he didn't do anything. No fist pumping or something. Nothing. Conte never wanted him in the first blame so he's not to blame. I blame the board because it has board signing written all over Michy. Hope they find a good solution for him and that isn't Michy out on loan and Fernando Llorente in...
-
Like someone else says in that thread: it's a "warming down". Most teams do that. But it's still good to see for us fans that we have a manager as committed as Conte is at the moment.
-
They get along real good!
-
Terry slips again and we immediately fuck up

JT sent off. Somethings never change haha
