The one thing that worries me about him is that Dries Mertens is above him in the pecking order (Belgian NT). Mertens is a pretty good player but I'll be very, very surprised if he becomes a world-class player.. And if De Bruyne isn't better than Mertens now, he's in no way worthy of being a starter at Chelsea. What do you think about this Hamilton (or any other Belgian member)?

Haha did you actually read my post? Where did I say anything about his age? He probably is better than Malouda, doesn't mean he should actually be our new starting left winger.. We need world-class material. Unless you actually believe he's already at that level.

He's not good enough for Chelsea yet. You don't want him to have a first year like Sturridge do you? The only thing I'd do different is loan him out to a team in a stronger league.

Roman and the board made a huge mistake by not refreshing the squad bit by bit after 2006, buying the wrong players (and the wrong age) and not planning for the future. If that happened, we probably would've won more. But they seemed to have learned and are changing their ways (though the weak spots of our team still haven't been addressed..) so hopefully we'll even be more succesful in the future.

Yeah many here don't give Utd the credit they deserve. They started the 10/11 season horribly but they got better and better. They may not have the names in their side that will make you shiffer but football is still about the collective and Utd have a very strong collective. And City have more quality than us but Mancini's their coach so that's very good news for us.

Real's squad is even more terrifying. Barca have a better first eleven but have you seen the players Real have on the bench .
