*facepalm* We are talking about wingers because we dont have any back up RW do we? :banghead: LOOL!!! you really dont get it do you? yeah i would love Sturridge to lead the line for us next season if all teams played against us the same way they did with Bolton! When Sturridge played for them teams attacked Bolton leaving Sturridge space to run into! but for Chelsea teams will be parking the bus against us! and when they see players like Mata and Hazard they will try to out muscle us and Sturridge is not one to put up a fight! Its one thing leading the line and scoring for Bolton and whole different thing to do it for Chelsea.

LOOL! you dont get it do you? First of all yes Ramires is a CM but he was also our best player last season with Mata, and most of Ramires best performances came from RW!!! and yes Moses is not an out and out striker! Schurrle and Jovetic can both play as strikers and out wide! and yes Sturridge is unproven as a striker at the top level! oh wait but he scored goals for us last season from RW! lool! you do realize scoring from RW where he could sneak in at the back post is a whole lot different to leading the line and scoring goals as an out and out striker where he would be up against two CB's! who would probably scare the life out of Sturridge! i could only imagine how bad he would be playing for us as a ST he would get bullied so easily against the opposition CB's, Sturridge is not the answer simple as that!

no your right that wont happen! and there is a good reason why! and thats because you must be delusional if you think the European champions would go into next season with Sturridge and Lukaku as our main strikers with Moses as a back up!!! what kind of madness is that??? three players, two unproven strikers at the top level and one who is not even a striker! of course its not going to happen! In an ideal world for me, i would rather we sell Sturridge, sign Moses as a back up to Ramires/Marin and sign Schurrle/Jovetic as 2nd choice striker and Lukaku as 3rd choice.

he would be a good addition to the squad! he impressed me last season with his dribbling ability, he makes it look easy at times the way he can just ghost past players, only thing he lacks is end product and a football brain, but playing at a better club with better players, he can develop and improve that side of his game, i think he would be a very shrewd buy.

What a player! now that he has finished with the euro's expect the race for Modric to step up now! i hope Roman watched him today! such a quality player! he would be amazing at Chelsea!

bit to early to say isn't it? for all we know we could be well clear at the top and unbeaten by the time we play those games or we could be in the Europa league places dropping points left, right and centre! We dont even know what our stating eleven will be against Wigan! so its really impossible to say how many points we could get from those games.

Just like in 09/10! we had a tough run in but we got through it! ideally it would be good to be 4 points + clear at the top before we get into those games.

Mikel and Lamps are only good together when we park the bus! people dont understand when we play attacking football next season, Mikel and Lamps in that double pivot would be our downfall! Modric-Fellani would be so so so much better and more effective than Lamps-Mikel in a attacking team. Plus the fact everyone keeps either forgeting Ramires or just leaving him out of their team! Ramires, Modric and Mikel/Fellani would be more than adequate cover to protect our back four! What do people think? that we are going to play with Torres, Mata, Hazard, Marin and Modric all bombing forward and leaving Mikel on his own? NO this isnt Fifa!

my word! smh first of all! how is that arrogant saying moving from Lille in the French league to the European Champions in the PL is a step up? please do explain. To say Hazard wont track back is just ridiculous! and its not even a big issue anyway! if Hazard will refuse to track back as you seem to think then Mata will do it then! and then to say you wont win anything without hardmen in the PL, who said anything about Chelsea not having Hardmen in the team? Lampard will still play a part next season, Mikel will as will Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz and Terry! not exactly a bunch of softies are they?

you cant compare us with Arsenal! since they last won a trophy how many world class players/or close to that level type players have they actually had in their team? Fabregas, RVP (since last season), Nasri (if im being kind) who else? plus the fact our team has that winning mentality, we are nothing like Arsenal and never will be.

Haha! do you think Hazard is Messi or something! coming to Chelsea is a massive step up for him and if he is asked to track back, i guarantee he will work his socks off to help out! when did you ever see players like Mata and Sturridge run back to help out defensively before last season? Players know if they come to the PL, they have to work for the team and its not like Ash will need alot of help from Hazard anyway all he would have to do is track the oppositions fullback when they go forward. its insane to think that asking Hazard to track back is insane!

Haha! no but its true! Barca has proved that, their defence is terrible but they have won so much over the years because of the way they dominate teams! next season if Modric comes in we would have the players to play a pressing game and have the players to dominate games with possession football. Its that same English mentality of rather having big strong athletes in the team instead if smaller and more technical players that needs changing at Chelsea! the game is evolving and more technical players is the way forward.

Yaya Toure vs Modric who would win at what? at controlling a midfield Modric all day long, Mata has already made Yaya look stupid season, Modric can easily do the same! So you would rather Cabaye? how has he got 'more steel' than Modric? Modric is better than Cabaye at virtually everything!

We also have this pretty good player in the team, he is Brazilian and doesn't stop running and can help out defensively and be a threat going forward you may have heard of him his name is Ramires! This is a much better balanced team. Torres Hazard - Mata - Ramires Modric - Mikel Ramires, Modric and Mikel can all do a job in helping out the back four, Hazard or Mata can also get back to help out Ash, plus the fact if we had Modric, Mata and Hazard in the same team, we would dominate most games. And Modric would control the midfield. so when defending we will look more like this. Torres Mata Hazard-Modric-Mikel-Ramires A.Cole-Terry-Luiz-Ivanovic Cech I don't see the problem, those players are perfect to get around the pitch and close players down fast, not giving them time on the ball, we would also have the players to press the ball high up the pitch. Modric would add a whole new dimension to our team. We wouldn't have to park the bus against many teams ever again. Attack is the best form of defense.

Many players can play multiple positions! but Modric playing in that deeper role at Spurs is what has made him one of the midfielders in the PL! If he comes to Chelsea that is where he will play most of the time! so there is no issue with not needing Modric because Mata plays in his position, because he doesn't.

SO! still doesn't mean that Torres said he is worth 50mil does it? and LOOOOL!!! how on earth can having a Torres avatar make me bias!!! i have criticized Torres as much as i have praised him this season! its only a picture! calm down!
