I still think Carvalho can be of great use to us.He's a fast defender and none of our other top 3 are. Having a pair of slow CBs may costs us against a top team,it might work in the league but in Europe it does matter. If Terry wasn't who he is and didn't mean so much for the club I'd try pairing Alex or Ivanovic with Carvalho to see how that works,now since he's literally undroppable I believe the understanding he and Carvalho have should be used. Our central defence is much better and "deeper" than those Arsenal or ManU have,thus even if Ricky moves to Milan we'll be in a good position.

If Ricky doesn't go it should be Bosingwa --- Carvalho --- Terry --- A.Cole With Bane being a back-up for Bosingwa and Alex rotating with Carvalho. I'd rather have Van Aanholt covering Cole because Zhirkov is wasted in the defence.

Can't see him making a first team debut this year. He's what 17?18? He's way to young to be able to cope with this and there are older reserve players that will have to get appearances.Can't see this happening unless he's the new Messi or something
