Won't be a walk in the park as some people are suggesting. But I couldn't care less about the result. All that matters is seeing Jose on the side, and the new signings/youngsters on the pitch. Very excited. Someone please post streams as soon as they're available, thanks
Mata and Luiz are both more valuable assets than Rooney could be at the moment. We do not know if Rooney will perform, if he can work as a second striker or if he has the pace anymore. It could just be another Torres-ish signing. We need to stop looking at players that have already hit their prime, and we really shouldn't be offering players that still have so much to give. That said, no one in their right mind would not want Rooney at their club, just hope it doesn't cost us either Luiz or Mata.
Rafa seems to have gotten the right combination wiith the team today, commanding display in the first half. Hope to see Ba on, Goal Difference could be vital between us and Arsenal come end of season. But with the amount of games we've been playing, important to rest the likes of Mata/Hazard too.
So dissapointed at the performance. This is the same team that went through Barcelona and Bayern last season. We need to get rid of Torres, get a proper striker ASAP. If it was Drogba up-front from last season, we'd have put two in the back of the net atleast. We need someone to create chances.
Any big player will know we're going to be the UCL next season. We've a big team despite the fact we're stuck in the Europa League this season. It's a long term commitment signing for a big club, our elimination from the Champions League should not discourage him altogether even if it does cross his mind.
Don't see why so many will accept a draw. Admitted that Everton away is always a tough fixture, but we're in great form. A win here can really turn our season ambitions around and put some pressure on the two Manchester teams above us. Predicting a 2-0 win. Lampard, Mata.
Got a really bad feeling about this one. All this hype starting to build about being unbeaten so far just adds pressure on us. It's the bridge so you've also got to consider us favorites, but i just think we might lose by a goal today. They have Persie, and he loves scoring against us. Stopping Persie and Rooney will be key, and without JT that will be a challenge in itself. No Lampard either, so we'll probably play with Hazard Oscar Mata. And Mikel Ramires? - Sort of leaves us exposed when we're countering, and United are very very good at punishing teams like that.
They just had to place this game today, clashing with Pakistani Cricket, which is like religion over here. So all sports channels showing that, have to watch it online.
Really doubt Romeu will start, let alone feature. Tough one, still can't forget the fixture last season. I think it's going to be 3-1, us going 1-0, letting them score, then scoring two more. Lampard, Hazard and Torres!
We need someone who's another option upfront when Torres is disappointing, someone like Cavani who is a solid finisher and natural forward. Not sure how much Moses will live upto that. And Sturridge has to stay!
What troubles me is how we put our foot off the paddle when we're winning, we did that against Wigan and weren't that good in the second half. Again today, we allowed them to come at us after Lampards penalty and we got punished for it. Against bigger teams and tougher opposition, it could be disastrous.
