Even if Italy gets that fourth spot it'll lose it pretty quickly, we aren't good enough to have 3 teams in the CL, just look at Lazio, simply not good enough for it and Roma can barely get past the group stage. It really is a shame English teams are so weak tactically, you look at the quality City, United and Arsenal have in their teams, you would expect they'd do really well in the competition. I know they're rivals and all, but i really miss the days of Benitez at Liverpool and Ferguson at United, those were proper Champions League nights.

Ideally we should have 4 CB and 4 FB for proper rotation. Terry will be soon gone, maybe at the end of this season, if he'll be here next season he should be 4th choice CB. Ivanovic will be also gone quite soon and if he really has to stay he needs to be moved back to CB. This would leave us for next season with just Cahill, Zouma, Dave and Baba. We would have to buy at least one fullback and one CB for next season,and i'd prefer to see us get a proper LB rather than an RB. What i'd like to see would be: CB: Cahill, Zouma, Stones and Terry FB: Dave, new LB, Baba and Aina. This for me would be ideal for our defence.
