I'm fairly sure this one is an old comment he made about Ranieri (while José was in Italy) and the journalist lazily copied in the article. Why would someone ask him about Ranieri now?
-
Del Bosque? Low? I'm not sure about Conte, i have a love-hate relationship with him, but it would be a massive test for him to come to Chelsea, winning the serie a with Juve is really not that much of an achievement. It is true however that Italy is still unbeaten in the qualifying group, even with some unconvincing performances. However when an italian comes to Chelsea be it as a player or as a manager, massive stuff tends to happen. I would be curious to see what would happen if Del Bosque would be our manager, considering that our main core of players is spanish. Hodgson?

I think it's worth noting that at the end of the season there's going to be the european championship. Lots of NT managers will probably get the sack or resign from their duties. I really hope he'll turn it around and bring us out of the awkward situation we're in, but if he won't, it'll be worth looking into that.

Even Carlo knows best.

aaaahhh i see......Still my point remains, give this team to Lippi 2006 and the team would win convincingly. You do seem a bit confused about what you're saying tbh...... So, José is overrated, but any decent manager would do? hmmmm...... Sorry but i think now you're changing your tune. Back to the drawing board, as any "decent manager" would say.
-
AVB, Grant, Scolari and RDM would want your theory to be true. first-half of the season with pretty and fluent attacks, wins over Liverpool,Man City and 6-0 to Arsenal in his first year. Want another example of "any decent manager will do"? Give the current Belgium NT to someone like Lippi 2006 or Del Bosque 2010 and they might put in a convincing performance finally.
-
Simply try to make a team play without a manager 'nuff said.
-
Yeah......no. Absolutely not. There's no need to explain why also.
-
Ehmm...the notion that 1 (non-team) player will win you trophies is absurd. Do you think the second coming of christ Ronaldo will set up tactics in big matches or he will jsut sulk when a team-mate doesn't pass the ball to him, so he can inflate his goal stats and ego? Personally i would never want a players like that in any team i'd support. Also, "what you gave him"?

One league title (under José) and one CL in how many years he's already there. He won more when he was at United under SAF.
-
Him or Matic would be a good vice captain choice for me as well, Tibo for me wouldn't cut it as a captain for his awkward body language and his dodgy comments to the press. Also, while we're talking about the armband in general, i do believe midfielders or defenders are more suited to wear it, that's why i cringe when i see guys like Neymar,Torres etc wearing it, but that's just me

with a 3 man midfield Matic Rlc-Willian 4-2-3-1 bollocks Matic-Rlc Oscar Hoping that Matic now isn't in the José black book. I gave up all hope for Baba.

History is being made for this club right now. Be it for the better or the worse i'm proud! Now le'ts go, we've a lot of work to do! WIN OR LOSE UP THE BLUES!!!!!

Apparently RLC will start this. :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf:

Good news! Hope he takes this chance with both hands and rocks it. I also hope José will play him at number 8.

Well, anyway he got until the next break to fix this mess up, if until then we're not better, we'll see what the board will do. I admire them for sticking with José for now, it shows there's a will to change and move forward, but will José repay their trust? I hope so, we need it, he needs it, the player needs it. If not, no one can really feel sorry for him. As many have said, it would be nice to have some more respect for the man, many don't like him and that's ok, but disrespect him is a whole other thing. Everytime i read about Ancelotti in this thread i die a little bit inside a little funny story i have; A short while after Ancelotti left Milan and the news about him taking over at Chelsea, i was with one of my mates, he's a Milan fan, so we were talking about football stuff, and the Ancelotti topic came up, the first thing he said to me was this: "Chelsea are fucked now" and that was from a Milan fan. I like the idea of Klopp, if the "sack" will become a reality, simply and only because of his exchange of words with Arrigo Sacchi (which, for me, sits at "best manager of all times") don't know how many of you saw that exchange of words but it was really awesome.

Lol, playing through our right side has become a set piece for other teams. José wake up!
-
Exactly why i've said, if,would, possible and if. Signing Aboubakar is a hope in itself isn't it?
-
As i've said, José would have to get the rotation right with another possible future top striker, also, right now Costa would rightfully take back his spot, our other two aren't really good atm.
-
tbf Remy and Falcao are getting plenty of game time...Obviously José would have to get the rotation right. I hear you about the money, but would be worth it with proper rotation and good game minutes for him, considering he's still not the finished product. and once again he proved it
-
Surely not because José is managing us at the moment,,,,,,,
-
Forget that, he doesn't like us at all. He wouldn't manage us if this was the last football club in the world.
-
If you could post a detailed opinion, just like he has, about why for you José is the problem, it would add greatly to the thread. Do it please i would like to hear your detailed opinion about this.
