Alfa's have always looked good....just their old rep of being rust buckets was a hard tag to lose.I had a brand new Alfa GT Black line in 2008 which was a great little coupe and handled brilliantly (but a tad harsh with sports suspension). Served me well before I part ex it for a Jag XF after a couple of years

different proportions for different people...just because you dont want to discuss football or in the case of this thread..Costa because of Paris, doesnt mean others cannot as well.

shut yer noise yer buffoon if you cannot see that the Costa from January to May was decent and certainly a lot better than the one this season. If you honestly think he is the same player since January to now, then you should be one looking at the real world

10months?????? only this season.He played ok and full of confidence from Jan to end of season which included suspension and injuries. Would have that Costa back now over this one or Torres

99% eh....lol.Most countries have to win their league or finish top 2 just to even qualify for the CL. Winning their league is more important before thinking about CL. Most clubs realistically cannot win CL so your view that 99% of fans think their club winning CL is the holy grail is totally unrealistic. However, as I pointed out earlier...I agree with you about Euro league and that could be the future

Incredibly wrong on all 3 counts especially the last one because it doesn't matter who the manager is and it might have escaped your attention but hardly anyone is saying the PL is greater than the CL....just saying that to most fans its the one to win year in year out and then worry about a CL.And I also bet that if we were near or at the top of the PL this season......we wouldn't even be having this debate at this present time of the season

Firstly, meeting and knowing hundreds of supporters before and after matches, how else can I find out views without using my mouth?Secondly....Where have I said on here Mourinho is my favourite manager???? Infact if you look at my posts I say different to that. I reckon if you asked the manager of any PL club, their dream would be to win the PL first before worrying about winning a CL. So while the CL is more prestigious....its not the first thought with managers who are at clubs capable of competing for the PL title. Hazard.....had we also been in top 4 he would have come to us. He chose us over Utd and City not only because of CL qualification, but because of the package put together for him and agents. Lastly.. so what if other fans around Europe don't give a jot about what happens in the PL?? That's totally irrelevant when we are talking about clubs own supporters whether it Arsenal, Man Utrd, Liverpool etc etc wanting to win the PL. If our foreign Chelsea supporters don't give a jot about the PL....then I suggest they reserve their comments for Mourinho and Chelsea only when we play European matches

Actually as far as attracting the so called 'plastics' ....its most probably the CL that does that as that has a bigger audience.Fail to see your point about calling supporters ' local losers'

@ mana Yes...I have asked. Meet and know hundreds of supporters before and after matches. Home and away....including some great trips abroad for CL matches or indeed other Euro ones. I know the PL is the main prize for them........so going on your answer ...onviously you havent asked

not undermining it at all...just saying that most supporters would put PL first .Get amongst the support pre match for a PL game and hear it for yourself because you are so wrong about 50/50 Then its better to be in CL as PL champions anyway. Players would still sign because you have won PL and qualified. I would love this club to win PL 3 times on the trot (a very rare achievement and very difficult). That would mean so much more than a cup competition. But what about the other Euro cup??....the one that Mourinho pooh poos!..Where does that stand in prestige? However if Europe went for European leagues then thats different

I mentioned earlier that after the league has been won a number of times ( for me ideally 3 on the bounce) then by all means the CL could become more important for one year.I think you are mistaken though if you think Mourinho and the Chelsea board prioritised the CL over the PL during the close season. Of course as it happens things might be different now but I reckon virtually every supporter wanted us to retain PL over anything else this season P.S. Hazard did sign for us because we qualified for CL again....but also we gave the best deal for him and agent fees over Utd and City

They all dream about winning the PL first and foremost.A CL game at the bridge is nothing like a PL one......the build up, the atmosphere etc...not a patch. Read my post again. Where did I say we didn't have CL games at the bridge? Mourinho and other managers understand the English fans mentality towards supporting their club in PL over country or CL. but as you know best...ask any supporter whether they went just once or to every home and away what they would have preferred last season if it was straight choice between the two........CL wouldn't get many votes

so what about TV audience and champs league. The PL means more to any top team support in England. In Chelsea FC case, walking to the ground from West Brompton, Fulham Broadway or Parsons Green....getting the buzz, feeling the excitement, smelling it.......Its what drives the home support for every league match week after week, year after year, win lose or draw. Its different and better than the CL matches where they sort of interfere with what we are used to. Mourinho, the players and other clubs managers and players understand this...the bread and butter, the loyalty shown. CL will always be a poor second

Now we are getting into proper European league territory. Might happen one day
