  1. Mr Fulham Broadway, Remember this?! 0-2 down with 11mins to go, won 3-2. Marched out of the main stand at Fratton Park after our "one man went to mow" had it shaking (I kid you not!)
  2. Avram Grant, Nickname is "Thrush" = Irritating Cunt. Mind you............................He did relegate the Marsh Men, can't be all bad!
  3. Before the board made us the faceless club we are now, and before The Bridge was rebuilt, there used to be an open day, a couple of weeks before the season started. They would put the rope round the pitch and the players would wander onto the pitch and go through a sort of training exercise. This was 1991 Eddie Newton, Frank Sinclair, Andy Myers, Damian Matthews, Michael Duberry, Jason Cundy, Greame Le Saux & David (Rodney Trotter) Lee were to be the new kids on the block. I was sat with a few friends, having a beer in the old Gate 13 in the East Lower and Eddie wandered over, gave us all a hand shake and was well down to earth. Fair play to him. The same day I had a word with Gordon Durie, He made a joke about being glad that I was a fellow Jock, I said to him that I was sorry to hear that his family hadn't settled in London (He's from Fife) He went on to say that the reports in the Evening Standard were true and that Walter Smith wanted him at Ibrox. I said I understood and thanked him for his time at THe Bridge. Two days later he moved north alright, The cunt signed for the Yids. I was gutted. Eddie Newton: Top Man. Oh, And we chased The Yids all over Seven Sisters Road afterwards, Blinding night! The season before Durie left, I wee look at him playing against the Yids, in the League Cup. Newton was on the bench/
  4. He's a big queen. See his collapse, holding his face, when he was palmed in the chest yesterday. Big fucking tart.
  5. Glad to see Eddie back at the club. He was interviewed on talkSPORT last night and said he was waiting by the phone for the call to arms. A guy who genuinely loves the club.
  6. Villas Boas looked like a little boy lost (Albeit a very fucking rich one) towards the end. I think he tried to do things his way and he didn't seem to mind who he upset. Fair play to him for that and I admire his bottle. He let himself down with the brutal culling of Anelka and Alex, If you look at the dire Wigan game, Thats the sort of game where Anelka would have got us a goal. Alex was miles better as a centre half than Luiz and would have solidified the defence. The binning of Cole for Boswinga in Naples was just strange and the constant appearances of Meireles was baffling. Lampard has got the hump because, all of a sudden, he was being treated like a cunt, This is a guy who I still think has loads to offer as player, always kept himself super fit.
  7. There is more than a fair chance of us getting fourth if the Yids slump continues, Now that would be funny
  8. It'll be interesting to see what Robbie does with Drogba, Kalou, Malouda and Meireles. We have had one good season out of four from Malouda and I've said on here before, They should all have been punted last summer. As far as Meireles is concerned, I think he was only brought in to back AVB, Portuguese and all that. He has been truly pony.
  9. I would have taken O'Neill and/or Moyes before Carlo if I'm honest. Given the finances, Moyes has done a blinding job at Everton and O'Neill has shown Steve Bruce to be the cunt I always thought he was.
  10. Whatever happens, he will always be my top man! 15 years ago this year.........................time flies. Wasn't as good a day as the Zenith Data final in 90' though
  11. I agree with every word. The most sensible post so far.....................................including my own
  12. For what its worth, I think Bruce Buck is a swarmy cunt
  13. Whatever Abramovich has done, has always been in the best interests of Chelsea FC as far as he is concerned. He has got many things wrong, Avram Grant, Ray Wilkins, AVB, etc. But to be critical of him is harsh. I suppose if you own something then you can do what the fuck you want with it, Thats the way it is. The Avram Grant appointment gave me the right hump. I think Roman must have indulged in hoovering some Bolivian Marching gear up his bugle before coming up with that coking idea.
  14. Shut Up you muppet. Why would you want your own team you claim to love to finish so badly. Get a life. He was miles out of his depth, Robbie will get the respect of the players a lot more. Boas was angling for the sack for fucking weeks now. His comments in the Portuguese press were aimed at his own dismissal. He certainly wasn't going to do the honourable thing and resign as he would have lost all that lovely wonga, like he fucking needs it. I'm glad he's off. Dennis Wise anyone?
  15. This is fucking ridiculous, He has to go, and now. It's gone too far now. This is utterly shambolic.
  16. Personally, I am fucking sick of AVB rattling on about his "project". I think the senior players have spat the dummy about the lack of respect offered to them. If he has decided to bin some of them then keep it mum and do the business during the close season. Look at the departure of Dennis Wise and Kerry Dixon for example. Drogba hasn't been interested this season and should have been moved on last summer, along with Malouda, Kalou and Boswinga. I think the likes of Lampard can easily play on for a few years yet, He has always been super fit and he could very easily do a Giggs or Scholes. He is a massively underrated player who I think deserves better. AVB needs to basically shut the fuck up and concentrate on the "current" team affairs, and not what may happen in the summer.
  17. Team selection was again utterly pony. Why on why Meireles instead of Lampard????? what the fuck does he bring to the team?, what the fuck has he contributed this season, yet he is seldom dropped. Its utterly pathetic by an incredibly inept manager. Never, ever, ever, ever though I'd say it, but AVB makes Yiddo Grant seem like Brian Grant. Why the fuck was he so determined to bin Alex and Anelka??
  18. Pro-Quoted from the last ever Blackadder: Edmund: You see, Baldrick, in order to prevent war at Stamford Bridge, two superblocs developed: The high earning, prima donna players on one side, and the manager and the board and guv'nor on the other. The idea was to have two vast opposing armies, each acting as the other's deterrent. That way there could never be a war. Baldrick: But this is a sort of a war, isn't it, sir? Edmund: Yes, that's right. You see, there was a tiny flaw in the plan. George: What was that, sir? Edmund: It was bollocks. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sums it all up for me.
  19. When you look back to the fluid performance against Bolton away, everything seemed to be clicking nicely into place. Since then however they have been little short of fucking awful. Disjointed, passionless and ordinary..........We have a lot in common with the arse just now.
  20. Blinding piece. Shows the UK tabloid press as the risible wankers that they are.
  21. With every passing interview, AVB is sounding like a babbling fool and leaving himself wide open to abuse. This job is miles, miles too soon for him.
  22. Given our season so far, this is now a bigger game than it would normally have billed as. Birmingham will come to The Bridge full of confidence and we will need to match them. In reality, what would Roman's next move been if we were outed by Birmingham and horsed by Napoli? Would "The project" still be viable? I don't think so.
  23. I take my daughter to watch Motherwell up here, Local club and all that. All my family are Rangers fans and I went to a few games growing up but heart wasn't in it, Was already a Chelsea fan from a very early age. I've been to both Ibrox and Parkhead in years gone by and listening to endless songs about a conflict in another country, 400 years ago just makes you laugh. You wouldnt mind if the majority of the crowd were church goers (Fuck that) but its just endless drivel. Rangers fans with England tops on, Celtic fans wearing Ireland colours makes me want to puke. I'd happily see both of them in junior football, or worst case scenario, English lower leagues and getting horsed by Brenford and the Orient. Rangers have had this coming for a long, long time and you could argue that previous titles should be stripped from them. Celtic needn't act smugly about this either.
