Club could have bought a defender instead of Batshuayi, they decided to prioritize a striker over a defender. Normally both things should be possible, wonder why not...fresh blood in the management department after some time isn't a bad idea, i guess. But in this case Abramovich is calling the shots, i don't think someone like Emenalo enters the office and advises the man himself not go buy defenders. Don't like 'defending' Emenalo, maybe he vetos, but i think the first possibility is more likely, overall it's a guessing game.

His season under Ancelotti's guidance was really outstanding. Remember how he hit the post against Juve. Zidane doesn't like him and he's a fair weather player, imo. Interesting to see how the work, work work philosophy would turn out for him. Why should they know whether Chelsea made a bid? It's just a big guessing game. I blamed Emenalo for a lot of things, but Abramovich is sanctioning the moves and therefore the money, Emenalo is just executing on his behalf. They simply don't want to spend that big. Only problem i can see, it's frusting that the lack of new signings isn't compensated with youth or cheeply bought young guys. It looks like i have to eat my words but Barta is looking good so far and there are more gems out there. Superior scouting and the thing Mourinho could have done differently: play a lot more the young guys. As far as i'm concerned, club isn't doing the job properly so far which is quite disappointing. He won the CL, that was the mission. Some players will still be bought, but not with the ambition to become a European powerhouse. Qualify for the CL is enough, homework's been done so far. For the stadium he will take some money out of the club and most likely give a credit, he's not giving it away without the chance to get it back some day in the future, imo. You pay huge money to see the club play and invest a lot of your time, so it's okay to be annoyed. Ivanovic had a good shot on goal in the first half, Hazard's play was dangerous, Costa constantly taking the shot, Willian had his moment... the way Willian and Hazard played on the wings looked scripted to me. At the end of the day you need some individual quality to put chances like this to bed. Taking a shot the way Costa did before the 2:1 is one of the things which differs us (fans and hobby footballers) from them. You have to expect it from someone like him.

You do have a point there, when everything clicks into gear, sky is the limit, good thing is i already like the current attacking play, there're variations and the objective is set on goal, looked a bit like a video game the way guys like Willian or Hazard carried the ball forward, you could smell the danger all the time. Conte seems to fully buy into this club, antics are crazy. Can't fold a guy for stuff like this, despite some personal grudges. The style of play is fecking sexy, most convincing performance from the Premier League clubs so far, imo. If you like football, you have to appreciate today's game, it's not all about goals, goals will come when you go down this road. One thing that bugs me a bit, i expect from someone like Pedro more when he took that shot. He really should have done better, i know what he can do, imo. But credit to the team that they created opportunities, step by step and the first step has been taken. Chelsea know how to get in these kind of positions time and again, that's the good and more important thing.

Great to watch, Conte is up to the job! Really surprised how well the players were in the right place at the right time. Apart from the first 10 minutes, West Ham couldn't start playing, whenever they had the ball, they had no time to think, Blues were fecking everywhere. The understanding between the fellow Blues on the pitch was good: individually there're better players out there, but the guys worked together and showed the world that it's still a team game! Early days but very promising signs. A good foundation has been laid down.

Playing some good stuff. After 10 minutes they dominate the play. Have to give it to Conte, he worked his magic. There should have been a goal for Chelsea. Let's see what Bilic will do in the next half.

These points have already been discussed in the past, not making the rounds. A mate messaged me and i got it (today): has-been, methods outdated and not working anymore, tactics shit, football the worst, Martial leftback, Rashford just there to make up the numbers, cancer is finally gone, future meltdown for the redmen -go there you racist (without proof)..i could go on all day. Nice text, man! It's annoying to write a text and then receiving a 'bullshit' and other unnecessary stuff as response. What i've seen so far from Matic doesn't convince me at all, if he can't shield properly, he has to be on the bench, imo. Big disappointment, imo. A few days ago i read a text in which you mentioned overall difficulties in signing players without release clauses. Quite interesting, but if it really were that difficult, why did they send Aké away for another season on loan? What do you make of all this? Do you think the club will enter the season with the current bunch? Regards!

I wish Mourinho only the best after what he's done for this club time and time again. I stand by my opinion that the club should have better kicked out some of the players, i can't condone their behaviour. So excuse me when i feel a little satisfaction. I don't like the management, i don't like some players, mistreated the coach, but guess what i like the club, i'm still around, you can make of it whatever you want. Maybe for you i'm only a Jose fan, for others maybe not, but why are we talking about me, i stated my opinion and i'm continuing to do so as long as i like. I was at the lake chilling with friends. Checked from time to time the liveticker and the last 15 minutes i watched on Youtube. Two clubs played against eacher other, two former managers, Ranieri got the better of Mourinho last time, this time it was different, fair play. I hope Mourinho does well, would prove a point to the club, but that's just my way of thinking, each to their own. Some like de Bruyne, fewer Lukaku and Mourinho. You're entitled to your own predicitions, time will tell. I for one wouldn't use 'cringe' in this context, i'm not here to tell you what you can or can't say. Bye!
