  1. Villa prob would be as we will have sold out so have a good crowd up there, it should be a decent game and it is relativly easy travel wise.
  2. WE won 7-1 that night if i remember rightly tromso
  3. I know what i like reading in fanzines etc and on fan sites are a fans view of the game but not just the actual football on the pitch all the banter before and after a game, funny stories from away trips etc. This could be done monthly and would be good if it could be a different fan each month to get variation, for it to work the fan writing for that month would need to have attended at least one of the games ... i think this would be good ...could be called something like view from the stands etc
  4. Of course there will always be trouble at the football it kicked off against qpr but mostly away from the ground just handbags near the ground....if you are looking for trouble at football you will get it but if you are wearing a footie shirt etc they are not interested and there is no chance of you getting done in. So glad my family are not like that although i still dont think my dad has told my mum about marseille away in 2000 when we got tear gassed in the away end lol, she would have completly freaked out seeing as i was 12. I wasnt trying to presurise you into going asap but just advising how good an experience it is and something you could enjoy in the future.... i would avoid west ham and spurs away and prob burnley away as a new fan as these will be intimidating esp if your not used to it and travelling on your own. The likes of blakburn, bolton, hull etc are the perfect away games to get you involved in the away days.
  5. 99.99% sure arsenal away will be sold using loyalty points so unless you have points on your membership card you will not get a ticket, this being in feb will not go down to any members .
  6. IMHO the best way to hear all the chants not just your usual home lot is to go to a euro away game they are fantastic days and i would recommened everyone ensuring they get to at least one in their lifetime, for the cost of 4 home match tickets you can go to a euro away game with the club.. ( the best way for your first as all the organising is done for you)
  7. Of course Kenyon has fucked the fans over he is a cunt which i something only fans who go regularly will understand as it is the match going fans he has pissed off. All i said about roman is we are an investment to him he doesnt care about the fans either no one in charge of our club gives a fuck about the fans and this is proven, yes i love the success but i do feel sorry for the kids growing up who will never have the experiences i had.Half the players dont even care about the fans after todays game they all went straight down the tunnel apart from jt,lamps and drogs yes im sure there disapointed but 100k a week should soften the blow at least acknowledge the thousands who turned up with a 3 hour journey home and work bloody hard to affoard to follow our team. Of course i dont care how much money the club has i had a st for years before roman and the money and i would still support the club exactly the same way without the money... so yes if money's there or money's not there i would still travel hours up and down the motorway each week and overseas following Chelsea. I know loads of people from away games that have ditched there home st's as they just dont enjoy going to the bridge anymore ..our club is a tourist attraction now in london and to be quite frank i wish it wasnt
  8. Its very long winded, and i really wouldnt worry about learning it you will very rarely hear it apart from the pubs and the lock ins after a euro away game, there are so many songs which are rarely sung nowadays that most of our fans wouldnt know them as long as you know the main ones you will be fine. Alouette, Chelsea Alouette, Alouette, Chelsea Alouette Oh she had a wonkey eye (Oh she had a wonkey eye) A wonkey eye (A wonkey eye) Aaaaand goooolden haaaaairrrrrr..... Alouette, Chelsea Alouette, Alouette, Chelsea Alouette Chelsea! (clap clap clap), Chelsea! (clap clap clap), Chelsea! It involves one bloke being th leader of the song as such and the rest repeating it , this will prob show it better as you can see its during a euro away lock in
  9. Apart from the player chants and songs about our rivals that is all you will really need to know for home games, by sitting in the MHL you will get the jist of them very quickly, if you are planning on away games as well there are some more which only really get an airing on the road Follow, Follow, Follow, There was only two minutes to go, It was Wayne Bridge's Goal, That sent us out of control, And sent the Arsenal out of Euro.... If you're standing, On a corner, With a red scarf, Round your neck, Chelsea boys, Will come and get ya, And we'll break, Your f*****g neck, La la la la, La la la la, La la la la, La la la.. We All Follow The Chelsea, Over land and sea (and Leicester) We All Follow The Chelsea, Onnnntooo vi-ic-toreee... Matthew Harding's blue army, (We hate TottenComham), Matthew Harding's blue army, (We hate Tottenham), Matthew Harding's blue army, (We hate Tottenham), Matthew Harding's blue army... Come along Come along,Come along and sing this song were the boys in blue Divison 2 and we wont be here for long
  10. Sorry but all that says to me is you dont go to games i'd like to see you say that to the diehards at every away game fuck me youd be ripped apart.Without the fans our club wouldnt exist simples.. we could exist without sponsership and tv revenues ,i couldnt care less how much money we have etc.. players , owners etc come and go the fans stay forever. At the end of the day we are a toy to roman he isnt a passionate fan and never will be of course he celebrates he likes to see his investment doing well. Matthew Harding RIP understood what my club was about he would have never fucked us over. One last point no one has mentioned about the manc bastard he excluded the fans from the celebrations back in 2005 for 100 years, numerous fans groups had said how important it was for the fans to be able to celebrate this he simply ignored it and carried on events for tarquin etc.
  11. I think Kenyon should come and speak to the fans in the away end tomorrow ( the away support are the lifeblood of the club) he wouldnt get out alive , i have seen kenyon whilst waiting to get 07 cup final tickets ... i started to queue at 8pm the night before they went on sale ( so much for rewarding your loyal fans) he was told in no uncertain terms by most fans there that he was a manc cunt.
  12. Were taking poor numbers to this compared to previous years the away end holds over 5k we got an original 3.5k tickets with an option for the rest ( they will just be netted over now) and couldnt even sell that, but hey ill be in the marquee bar place under the stand around half 12 away games are soooo much better than home games
  13. Kenyon was not liked by the regulars ( by regulars i mean home, away and euro away fans) around 2k at most who attend 90% of the games a season... why cause he started off by treating us like mugs , i couldnt care less how many shirts we sold in the us because of him in fact due to his brand we have attracted all the posh twats and daytrippers who have destroyed any atmosphere we have at home. Our club should not be seen as a business ( that is why football is 25% of what it used to be, the passion is slowly draining from the game ) and you need to understand what being Chels is to run it its not like managing some sports company. Kenyon does not care about the fans, he has refused a 16-21 year old st for the past few years despite being told how it could be funded by the fans of course with no extra cost to Chelsea all this despite us having th elowest number of st holders in the league from that age group.
  14. My thoughts exactly hated him since he came and decided not only to increase the st prices in his first season but also take the free cup games away and then had the cheek to say how good he was by them being £25 , no you mug i had them free...... once a manc always a manc
  15. Dunno the club sent me some signed pictures and a signed ball, fulham gave me a free corp box for our league cup game there a month latter ( my uncle worked for fulham at the time so made sure they got me something)
  16. Robert " broke my fucking wrist" Huth.... Never have forgiven him for that one
  17. Ive a feeling thw stoke train is partly funded by old bill at their request after the trouble at both games last season of course the police want us on a train so they can escort us to and from the game
  18. Numerous times , when we lost the 94 cup final , loosing to monaco ...that was OUR chance, In tears up at bolton as were many people around me at the final whistle. I didnt cry after the champions league final i was in tears before it, my dads flight got cancelle that morning leaving me out there with a few mates i was gutted , in the ground sat there with his empty seat next to me my mum called and said that he hadnt said a word to anyone and had spent the afternoon in bed she said she had nver seen him like that in 20 odd years ( not since his best mate died)> After hearing that i just broke down in tears sat there in moscow i didnt want to be there sounds strange but i wanted to be at home at that point and a small part of me is pleased that When we win the champions league i will be there with my dad and i will be able to enjoy it like i should as i dont think i would have been able to enjoy it if we had won.
  19. Just walk through bishops park like every one else, dont worry about the fulham fans they wouldnt say boo to a goose and if the 0.001% chance there was a load of gobby mugs you can guarnatee that within seconds there will be chels all around you sorting them out. Chelsea fans look after there own, always have done always will do. If you want a singsong before the game with a pint go to the 8 bells you wont miss it from putney station all the Chelsea fans outside will be the giveaway
  20. Suitable price... bullshit typical ticket agency charging through the roof avoid, fulham have putney end neutral stands on general sale
  21. This is the TFL we are talking about wouldnt surprise me if it is still on next weekend, luckily for me there is a direct train from bracknell to putney on sunday's nice walk over the bridge to the 8 bells
  22. As the topis says what are your most prized possesions ( Chelsea related), mine are ; 1. My season ticket of course 2. My flag 5ft by 8ft take it to every game 3. My framed and signed match worn Kalou shirt from watford away when he scored the last minute winner 4. Last seasons home shirt, signed by the squad and personalised to me saying ( To michelle keep the blue flag flying high)
  23. My only dissapointment is that i didnt see the whole record .. was at 84 of the games, i missed wigan and middlesborough at home in the 05-06 season due to being in hospital with a broken ankle , and yes i did ask if i could discharge my self to go to the game lol
  24. none, the diamond does not get the best out of lampard our most crucial player...what is the point of having a 20+ goal a season midfielder and putting in a formation which clearly will not get the best out of him.. he looks lost at the top of the diamond
  25. Watching training really doesnt bother me i have other sources to get autographs mainly through someone i lost contact woth years ago who i met again last season who it turns out helps out all the portugese players over here with family stuff etc. He is going to arrange for me and my dad to go to the training ground to meet the players which will be cool. I feel its a shame for the younger fans that this is the only way they can see training and meet with todays players, i am only 21 but grew up as a kid going to harlington( the old training ground loads in the holidays as my dad worked near there, we used to stand pratically at first on the edge of the pitch , as time grew by and bigger stars were attracted you ahd to stand by the building and the players would always stop and sign everything on their way in. If the players were not busy a couple would have a kick about with the kids after which was amazing at that age, i remember going to the training ground the day of my 15th birthday and when the steward there found out it was my brithday getting invited in and having lunch after training with the players and getting a load of signed stuff.
