Under Tuchel, Alonso has been better. We can not deny it. As much as I dislike his behaviour and attitude, he's earned the right to start over Chilly.
I still want Alonso sold in the summer, make no mistake about it.
I'm optimistic for this one. I can not see us conceding against them, especially when we are in the lead. They're going to have to play attacking football, which is something that Simeone's team is not used to.
That Giroud goal was truly a blessing.
Chilwell was awful against Leeds. His performances have shown me that Alonso is the much superior wingback in this system.
I agree that we need pace next to Giroud. Maybe we play CHO next to Giroud with Havertz behind them two. CHO is brilliant on the left side and I trust him to be more productive than Werner currently.
It's not even that, his defending was awful. The amount of times he lost the ball was ridiculous as well as his attacking contribution. He's just an average left-back, and I was originally against this signing. Reguilon would've been a much much better signing.
What the hell was that decision to put Pulisic as a WB? Very weird decision, and playing Mount together with Ziyech as the two 10's was even more weird. Overcomplicating things for no fucking reason.
That's something I don't agree with. It makes no sense to limit his abilities. He looks out of place right now, and Ziyech looks as average as he was against Liverpool and United.
I already said that Mount and Ziyech can't play together.
Did I say it was the correct decision to play him though?😑 That was Tuchels logic in the Liverpool and UTD game and it still failed. Weird that he's continuing with it.
