Because no matter who our manager is, the plans and targets will pretty much stay the same. We could see as many as three new names arrive in the midfield positions this summer, and as many as three (or more) depart. Sources have heard that Andrey Santos is now being tracked by Manchester United, who are showing an interest in the Blues midfielder for a possible summer move. Chelsea are open to selling Santos for the right fee. They are also open to selling Romeo Lavia. Sources have heard that Premier League clubs are showing an interest in Lavia, but most of them are reluctant to move due to his injury history. And finally for now, Dario Essugo is attracting loan interest from La Liga clubs and is more than likely to depart on a temporary move this summer, allowing more space for new arrivals.
