Never anyone seems to mention our youngsters Bertrand and Cork? Maybe not complete random players, but i think it's fair to say they have been forgotten a bit as time passed by

Just wondered what number Joe Cole had last season, oh yes, number 10 wasn't it? Indeed, he played at such an high level that he was worthy of the number 10 shirt last year . Was it just because he is English that he was/is rated higher or has he been given the chance to show his talent properly over quite a few seasons? I won't claim that I am the biggest fan of Yossi (perhaps I will be in the future), but if some of you guys could only give Benayoun a chance to prove himself...

That doesn't mean we shouldn't worry about the short term consequences of Roman leaving (might this be true). We probably would have a hard time when he leaves us now. Hope he will be with us for longer, it is the best owner we could have ever wished for. At the same time that makes me think we should respect his decission after all he has done for us.

Well, to be honest, i didn't see him shine anywhere else other than his one year at Chelsea. He probably would have been too light-weight for the current team/PL-level.

IF Yossi said something insulting about Liverpool, it's pretty good censored by the club. The only thing being said here is that the training methods from Liverpool differ from those at Chelsea, and Benayoun feels more comfortable with ours!

That may be, but you'll have to look at the complete picture. We play a different system now, with more attack-minded football. This also gives us the opportunity to score way more goals. Our CB's still have to do a good job ofcourse, but nonetheless they don't carry the importance that they did in the Mourinho Era. Our defence may concede more, and therefore be 'weaker' than in the Mourinho Era, but our attack also scores a hell of a lot more. So imo there isn't really a problem with us having weaker CB's than before (if you consider that as true, wich i don't btw ). Besides not only the defenders were defending in these days, the complete team did (wich makes the CB's probably look a lot less vulnerable). Under Ancellotti it's just the opposite, the whole team attacks. To conclude, we should all just realise how lucky we are with such a good back line in terms of quality, depth and versatility! We could lose one of our starting CB's or RB's/LB's and change him for someone's who is surely at the same level, or even at a higher one. Many teams in Europe would be very grateful to have a backline like ours. CB1: Terry, Ivanovic, Hutchinson CB2: Alex, Carvalho, Bruma LB: A. Cole, Zhirkov, Paulo Ferreira, PVA, Malouda , RB: Ivanovic, Bosingwa, Paulo Ferreira, Bruma, Mancienne, Hutchinson And I even may be forgetting someone...

It may 'only' be the community shield, but I was still very happy when we won it (on penalties for god's sake) against United last year. Hopefully we can do it again, would certainly please me (as it always does when we win from United ).

Trust me, he is not good enough for Chelsea, nor worth the money. Why? 1. He is a giant diver (wich doesn't come in handy in the EPL). Players who moan and dive all the time aren't Chelsea-worhy in my opinion. 2. One way or another, luck seems to be his best friend. Suarez always knows to squeeze little balls through and/or score, but not before it has come of limbs of three different opposition defenders and the referee. I doubt it if he will be that lucky in the EPL. After all, we need pure quality players, not lucky ones.
