How are we going to cope with our injury crisis?
Blueboy replied to Blueboy's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Let's hope we're good enough for the game against Arsenal...As i said, our backs are vital in our attacking play and what will Ferreira make of it? Hasn't played much games lately, so i hope he can cope with the pressure of his first starts of the season against teams like City, Arsenal and Porto... -

Yep, it's indeed speculation, but the international round of friendlies has yet to begin, and we already have a few absents. The games that i'm worrying about most are City and Arsenal. It won't be bad to see Zhirkov play . Still, he just recovered from an injury and immediately got a call-up for the russia squad, wich is a risk imo. -
Yeah well, as a professional you have the obligation to be an example for 'little kids' i always hear ? 'Dark side' has maybe a bit too much on it indeed xD, but couldn't find a better word when i opened this topic . But the meaning of it all is clear i hope ^^?

Heard from a mate of me that Drogba (aka The man who always wins the game for us against Arsenal), is also out :/, anny confirmation? The list is still growing; Bosingwa, Cole, Lampard, (Possibly Terry and Drogba?) I wonder how our attacking game is going to look like (looking at the fact that much of our attacks depend on the backs). Let's hope we don't get anymore injuries during those F*cked up friendlies:fainthv9: -
Just read something on a dutch soccerwebsite about the fact that Terry would have been very drunk at 1. SWP's birthday party (who spent something in the range of 60000 pounds...?) and urinated on the dancefloor at the same party? 2. After the defeat against Russia And besides that he would love to drink a lot of booze? Would like to know what's true about this xD, because i don't believe it honestly! Sounds like a bit of a daily mail article to me .

Zhirkov and Mikel don't have had much playingtime so i wonder how they would perform against Arsenal, not too sure about that. We should play Cole at the top of the diamond i think, got more skill in small spaces than Deco i think. Ofcourse we can still win it! KTBFFH! PS; Can you guys see my avatar? I can't, so thought i would better ask you . -

Didn't Cole broke something? Looks pretty unlogical to me that he would play within 3 weeks then.... ? And who would be the captain IF Terry would be out? If Capello decides to play him i can see him coming back with an injury after all :/. -
Earlier this month we received the news that Bosingwa is out for 3 months. After that, Ashley Cole(unknown?) & Frank Lampard (3 weeks out) followed. Potentially JT is out also. I thinks it's a pretty bad time to lose our players, with the games against Porto and especially Arsenal coming up. I think our 'back'-problem is solvable, despite we'll hand in a decent amount of quality if we look at the replacements that have been mentioned. Lampard could be replaced with Deco and JT with Alex. But who would be our captain then (assuming JT AND Lamps are out)? And what you guys think the best line-up would be for the forthcoming games? This is mine: Goal: Cech(let's hope he does better at corners this time :/ ) Defence; (from right to left) Ivanovic (despite his lack of speed :/, the other option is Beletti; isn't much better in that aspect) Alex (No problems with this at all! But only if Terry is out ofcourse!) Riccy (As always in the starting line-up) Zhirkov (don't know if this is a good idea, he'll have an instant amount of pressure on him! But at least he's got enough pace to keep up with arshavin on the right) Midfield (from bottom to right to left to top of the diamond); Essien (Speaks for itself. Will help Zhirkov to stop off Arshavina and Fabregas) Ballack (one way or another he seems unmissable this season!) Deco (I'm a bit afraid that he can't handle the tempo against Arsenal, but we don't have any other options left really, or you should use Matic, but that's a really really big gamble). J. Cole (We could use his creativity well behind the strikers) Attack: Anelka Drogba (who else?) This is ofcourse only if we don't get any more injuries .... Eager to know what you guys think of it!

Patrick Van Aanholt on loan at Coventry

Aren't there some video highlights available of Van Aanholt? I'm very eager to have a look at this game after reading this topic! Lol xD, forget about that, already found it . -
BOSINGWA UNDERGOES SURGERY Chelsea Football Club can confirm that José Bosingwa underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee this week. His recovery time will be approximately three months. Meanwhile Ashley Cole is suffering from an aggravation of a depressed fracture of the tibia, originally picked up against Atletico Madrid at Stamford Bridge. The injury will not require surgery. I don't seen much of him, but how much of a talent is he really? I see him in your sig together with the brightest prospects of our academy i guess ?? -

Still the best is relegation football (how awkward that may sound) xD. They learn to handle with pressure and they must perform at their best to keep their team in the league . We're not talking about clubs like Notts County btw xD, but more like mancienne at wolves . -

Haha, there we've got our youth/reserve expert again ! Is he on loan until the january transferwindow or will he be at coventry the whole season? In my opinion, as a youth or reserve player, you are better off being out on loan at a club like Coventry, where you probably get more time on the pitch. And i think that is the main thing you need when you're working yourself up the ranks at Chelsea; play games. -
That's harsh, you can't blame her for that .

Anyone knows anything about his progress at coventry? Is he incognito at conventry or what ? -
Wonderful. Simply wonderful.
-
Why isn't Riccy in the starting eleven? Seems like Bosingwa is going to need some surgery, looking at the fact that Carlo (if this source is reliable), still uses Ivanovic!

Does Aguero have an admiration for Chelsea?
Blueboy replied to Blueboy's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
A player like Kakuta isn't very tall either, while he's phenomenal at times. Same for Kalou by example, he also hasn't a body like Drogs or Anelka, but does the job most of the time. Besides that, i think Borini could compensate an awfull lot with his skill. Who the fuck is Ballotelli!(or how the fuck you might write it xD..). Sturridge on the contrary, already seems to have both . -

You're right. On the other hand i'm eager to see some of the likes of Borini & Sturridge, of wich i think they can match Aguero's level if they get their time on the pitch and time to develop!
