  1. His positioning and tactical awareness was off today. Stats can't show it.
  2. I thought Eden was okay. He wasn't terrible, but yeah, he wasn't good either. His touch was pretty poor and he gave the ball away too many times. But I think he's just tired.
  3. Tibo is MOTM obviously. Cesc was the best AM today. Doesn't say much, considering they all looked out of ideas, but Cesc created most of our half-chances today, including the penalty. Eden was okay too but looked very tired, misplaced many passes and got bullied. They all looked tired though. Matic was probably the poorest player on the pitch. Mikel was better.
  4. Yeah, very poor and not for the first time. He was poor against Spurs and Southampton too.
  5. Matic isn't the only player who "always plays" if you look at the line up.
  6. I suspect that's the case for most people. I haven't watched Serie A regularly in the last couple of seasons, but I've watched a few Fiorentina games this season. From what I have seen of him, he's definitely an upgrade on all our wingers bar Hazard, but I might be wrong - I don't claim to have an extensive knowledge of him. And he really isn't ancient or anything. Just a year older than Reus whom everyone here wants so much.
  7. All right, I'm getting tired of the same BS being spouted over and over by Barcelona and Arsenal fans, as though it's some law that Cesc's form is bound to drastically drop in the second part. Yes, his form definitely dropped at Barcelona, but that can be explained by many factors(among other things, the coaches reverted back to the trusted Xaviniesta and went back from a more direct football Barca generally played in the first half of the season to tiki-taka style that suited Xaviniesta). He never had such a drastic drop in form at Arsenal, so the problem was clearly related to Barcelona. Cesc's stats in the second half of the season at Arsenal(the League only): 2007-2008: It's natural that footballers' form drops as the season progresses, but as we see, at Arsenal Cesc's form didn't dip more than your average footballer's. He was injured a lot and missed many games, but that's it. He was still very good when he played. It's bloody hilarious how Arsenal fans keep repeating Barcelona fans' narrative now that Cesc is a Chelsea player. Our med team is miles better than Arsenal's. He'll be fine.
  8. Judging by Jose's digs at Lampard, there's no love lost between Chelsea and Lampard anymore, so #AgentFrank would likely be an agent for Man City and tell them everything he knows about how Jose approaches such games, no matter how outdated the information might be. Personally, I hope he doesn't play at all.
  9. Come to think of it, Arsenal win isn't such a surprise. The *4th place* was under a threat, after all.
  10. Yep, City are very poor at set pieces. They scored only 3 goals from set pieces this season.
  11. My point is, we shouldn't let City close the gap again and let the GD matter.
  12. The goal difference shouldn't matter. We shouldn't let City close the gap again.
  13. Looks like Wenger finally read the "Football tactics for Dummies."
  14. Hope Lampard makes an error that leads to an Arsenal goal. That's the sentence I'd never thought I'd say.
  15. Hush. No one cares because his name isn't Fabregas.
  16. LOL Arsenal are parking the bus. Who would have thought.
  17. Tbh, Arsenal's attacks were more dangerous than City's so far.
  18. Huh, it's easier to cheer for Arsenal when they aren't wearing red.
  19. I'm hoping that Ramsey scores a lucky goal or two despite having a shitty game overall or Alexis pulls something out of his arse.
  20. City are without Yaya though, so their midfield is weakened.
  21. It's kind of funny that we're hoping that Arsenal win(unlikely, yeah) while United fans are hoping for a City win.
  22. Fantastic first half, a bit sloppy second half, but a great game overall. Pity he didn't get a 3rd goal.
  23. This game reminded me of our 5-0 win against Schalke for that reason. When he plays so fantastic, we look unstoppable as a team.
  24. One of our best games this season. Not sure if I loved this match or the Schalke one more. Cesc MOTM, but Costa and Oscar were fantastic too.
