Exactly, we don't know everything and we'll never know how his hip feels to him. He's taken batterings before and been okay, but not everything is the same. A hip injury can haunt a player like Hazard, even if it's not serious. Now, if he doesn't play until January and he's shipped out, the other side may become the more likely. I'm waiting to make judgment.
-
Why? He's been successful where he's managed, but at Barcelona, he was always chastised for boring games, and he hasn't had the best relationship in Germany. I get that he brings success, but Simeone seems like he would be a better fit in the Premier League and a better fit if it's consistency that you want. Guardiola is like Mourinho, but with an attacking mentality.

"Kalle (Rummenigge) knows absolutely everything," said Guardiola. "The club, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and I have said time and time again that we will say something after our final game in Hannover, and that's how things are going to stay. "I'm just focusing on Hannover. I've been watching their games." He's quoted as saying he knows what he's doing in the future but won't release the details until his last game against Hannover. Since they're playing Hannover this weekend, people seem to think he's going to release the details this weekend. He said FINAL game, which is against Hannover in May.

I took Mata off of my shirt as well. It didn't work out so well. You can still see the residue from the glue.
-
If Hiddink comes in, he won't be here for longer than until the end of the season. That's most likely going to be the case for any manager that comes in.
-
Maybe, we won't know until January and the summer. Players can't be sold outside of the transfer window, while managers can be fired. There's a few players I wouldn't mind never seeing in a Chelsea shirt again, and there's some that are a few indifferent performances away from that. It isn't Jose or the players fault. It is both of their fault.
-
Make no mistake, this is far more than player power. We're not struggling to keep up with top 4. We're battling relegation and that's simply not tolerable for this club. If the training tactics aren't being translated on the field on game-day, Jose needed to find a way to make it. Nothing was changing. Nothing was getting better. It was the same stuff trotted out every weekend, with some things going our way in Europe. I'll never hate Jose. I'll never dislike him. He did so much for this club and we wouldn't be where we are (for better and worse) without him. Regardless of how he's portrayed himself in the media, he is one of us and always will be.
-
This gives the club a little while to draw up January transfer plans if needed...and it is.
-
Sometimes the best manager for the job isn't the biggest, most well known manager in the world. We don't have to get a rockstar manager, and it would really be to our benefit not having a manager on the headlines of the front pages every weekend.
-
But is that what he wants now? Coming off of last season, I could see him thinking he has just a little bit more time left. Does he want to spend that on the bench? He loves this club, but like with Lampard, personal career always comes first. He may not be happy just sitting on the bench and motivating players while in his tracksuit. He wants to be on the pitch, leading from the back.
-
We definitely would have going forward, but the defense was rock-solid and that is partly to do with Ivanovic.
-
He was an important piece in the defensive line. He provided little going forward, but especially last season, found himself in opportunistic positions to score some goals. He had 6, 7th on the team.
-
Maybe they're looking to his stint at Tottenham for reference. Took an underperforming side close to the relegation zone to a League Cup and mid-table.
-
Is there any doubt that this is what the squad will be if Mourinho is still here? Courtois Ivanovic-Zouma-Cahill-Azpilicueta Matic-Fabregas Willian-Oscar-Hazard Costa We'll lose to Sunderland, drop into the relegation zone and Jose will be fired. Christmas will be joyous for some and agonizing for others.
-
You don't want RLC in there with someone who is as unreliable as Fabregas. He may occasionally provide more creativity, but he's completely useless defensively. You can't have a midfield that's incapable of defending well. Ramires would provide the best compromise between attack and defense.
-
But the problem comes from not trying. I don't care if the manager is bad, you do your job. If not for the manager, for the club that pays you. Anyone that doesn't want to play at Chelsea can leave in January. Hazard included.
-
If Mourinho is going this season, the board need to just get it over with to get a new manager in time to get the transfer targets worked out. If he's staying, they need to figure out what players are leaving in January and get it sorted out for the last games of the year. Either way, we aren't far off from knowing what the second half of the season is going to look like.
-
It's crazy to assume this is all Jose's fault after yesterday. Regardless of what's going on behind the scenes, it's the players jobs to go out there every match and play at a high level. This is far worse than poor tactics and comments by Mourinho. These players aren't even playing for themselves. They're playing for nothing. That's not to say Jose isn't at fault but I can't believe that a team with this talent could be at the bottom of the table if they were actually trying to play.
-
Yesterday was awful. I don't know why I suspected any different. Leicester are top of the league for a reason. This result was always the most likely outcome. But it was a pathetic performance by the team. Aside from the goal, there was barely a threat from the attack. It's getting harder and harder to justify not starting Remy. It was such a pathetic effort all around the pitch. In order to keep from losing it, I just laughed at the effort. Bad passes out from the defense, poor marking from the defense, an in effective midfield that could only work the ball sideways, and when it was played forward, the forwards were unable to do anything with it. Absolutely gutless from this team and every single one of them should be ashamed of the effort put in. Jose, though culpable for the tactics from the beginning at least tried to make a go of it by putting 3 at the back, but it's broken. This whole team is broken and it's not going to be repaired by a stroke of miracle genius. It is going to take time to recover from this. I don't know what it is. The tactics are bland. The team looks like they couldn't be arsed to intelligently think about their actions. The only person who seems to visually care about what's going on is Abramovich in the stands. Very few of the players on the team deserve to have the Chelsea crest on their shirts. FFS, get the youth who actually care in. It can't be any worse. I don't care if this isn't ideal for them to succeed. Showing faith in them is a big enough boost to make them care more than the pathetic sacks of shit that is trotted out on the pitch every weekend. A lot needs to be done before February of anything other than a 0-6 aggregate is going to happen.
-
I would love to see Aubamyang in January, but I doubt it will happen. He would provide a great change of pace from Costa, with the situational awareness Remy can lack.
-
Our midfield consists of Matic, Mikel, Fabregas, Ramires and RLC. What technical ability is there? There was no chance RLC was going to start a game with this much importance.

September Tie: Begovic Ivanovic-Zouma-Cahill-Azpilicueta Mikel-Fabregas Pedro-Willian-Ramires Costa Today: Courtois Ivanovic-Zouma-Terry-Azpilicueta Matic-Ramires Willian-Oscar-Hazard Costa To be fair, I like this lineup much more than the first one...
-
The optimist in me says, judging from the last tie, it will definitely be a close one. We were a couple of missed chances away from coming away with a win. No reason to think we can't win this. Now, the pessimist in me says Jose knows we just need a draw, and will play for that. We won't attack and Porto will get a scrappy goal to win the match.

I'm glad he doesn't feel youth either. That's Wenger's territory
