What people don't realize is that SIGNING SOMEONE LIKE REUS MIGHT HINDER US. Yep incredible I know but if you think about it, it all makes sense. Just because we sign him doesn't mean we will be automatically adding 20 more goals to our goal tally. In situations where he would usually pass/cross for Costa...etc he might shoot himself. Look at Bale, Isco, James...etc hardly contributing goals directly themselves because Ronaldo demands everyone to focus and pass to him. Same with Barcelona, Suarez already being labeled a early flop by many impatience fans, in theory Barcelona should have been well on their way to more than 60 goals already with the attacking talents they have. So be careful what you wish for, sometime having a all star 11 doesn't necessarily work well. Reus pressing is good, but it is not as good as Cuadrado and Willian, hence we will be more vulnerable on that right side and Ivan is also being a bit of a liability these days making it even more dangerous for us. If he is better...obviously. If not, no I think he will be though, looks like someone who could run all day and seems faster than Willian even.

Oh and also wasn't Schurrle benched for like 2 months for attending Arsenal Xmas party last year? Probably also on Mou's mind when selecting Willian atm, not a lot but a tiny bit.

You don't pay 'max' for anything, it entirely depends on many factors as well. With Pogba that is hype, marketing, age, ability, attraction to other top clubs(MU, Real...etc) linked. It is all good and say we will only pay 30-50m, but Real will come in and do 80m. We will lose then, so it all depends on if we want the player badly enough to match it. Personally I don't think he is worth 80m.

Easy to say, everyone expected big things from Schurrle after that WC and goal against Burnley gave people false hope. Willian also in his 2nd season and we though he could be a better player now than last year, seem we were wrong.

Like I said my list are the players who can be considered top 50 wingers/wide mid in Europe atm and can be gotten in the summer with those prices or at least around those. Also Turan release clause is £32m. He works hard and is skillful but he is slow, that is why he is benched for quite a few big games for Atletico recently and only came on when the spaces opened up more toward the end of the match. Also it is not like he is setting the world on fire, his numbers are so similar to Cuadrado and could be arguably worse if compared directly.
