Must've developed tourettes off Tim Howard when he was there. Man Utd get away with everything. Rooney gets away with everything and the fact that Rooney plays for Man Utd.. The elbow against Wigan, the V Sign on Sunday, the Rant at England fans, the West Ham camera swearing, he is just a cunt. Hope he does another metatarsal. Can't get worse than a scouser who plays for man utd anyway.... and he's got a ginger beard.... Oh god

Cech Ferreira - Terry - Alex - Cole Ramires - Luiz - Benayoun Malouda - Torres - Zhirkov or Cech Bosingwa - Ivanovic - Terry - Alex - Cole Ramires - Mikel - Benayoun Torres - Drogba Just play Carlo.... try something
-
Yeah feel free to answer them lol, they were just in my head so much so just mentioned it. Good to see differing opinions anyway. With all the uncertainty this season, it's a miracle we look like coming 2nd. We got the UCL spot quite comfortably in the end. Any other season we'd be 6th.... I personally want Carlo to have 1 more year to see if he can turn it round, especially after being a double winner last season. The last handful of games were amazing last season and under Carlo too. This season has been worse, wanna see him with Zola to turn it round.

The problems are the continuity. Man Utd have the most settled first XI you can think of and the squad players are perfect for them. They have many like for like players and even when they have injuries, they can pull one out the bag. We've been all over the place this season. The only 2 players that have had full seasons in their positions are Terry and Cole. There's too many questions and not enough answers. Who partners Terry? Who at right back? Ivanovic right back or in the middle? Essien holding or Mikel? Lampard in a diamond or coming from deep Drogba or Torres or both? 4-4-2 or 4-3-3/4-5-1? Ramires or Mikel? Can we really play Mikel and Essien together? Essien and Lampard have both had major injuries, they will never be the same again so should we let go? Who to play on the wings out of Kalou, Malouda, Zhirkov and Anelka? Anelka a winger or a striker? Where's the creativity? Why was benayoun not played when fit as he's the one creative midfielder we have? Luiz....good player but surely no defender. Alex or Luiz? Could Luiz be the midfielder we're looking for and he's already here disguised as a reckless CB?! Ancelotti out? Why did Roman get rid of Wilkins? How are we gonna ever win the league like this? At the end of the day, this has been managed poorly. Ivanovic, Alex, Terry and Cole should be at the back. This is our most solid back 4 imo. Luiz isn't a defender, he's already given away 2 pens, he had a shocker at old trafford gifting them both goals and against Stoke away gifting them their goal. On the other hand he has scored 2 goals and hit the bar, using a lot of skill and creation whilst doing it. He should be tried as a midfielder against Newcastle in what is now a meaningless game. We also have Bosingwa, our only natural right back but again, he's a shit defender who thinks he's a winger and has absolutely no final ball. What is a winger? Someone who plays out wide, taking on defenders and getting to the by line to deliver crosses and ammunition to the strikers. They should have pace, a quick turn of pace, skill and a great final ball. Malouda has no pace and doesn't beat defenders, Kalou has a bit of pace and trickery but an awful final ball, Anelka is a striker played horribly out of position for 3 years and Zhirkov is so inconsistent altho probably the only one of our 4 wingers who is a genuine out and out winger and i bet he's played the least. We should keep Yuri and get rid of the others and replace them but tbh it does look like Yuri is on his way out. We need a player like Bale, N'Zogbia, Lennon, Young, Adam Johnson who can torment defenders with pace and skill, put in a great final ball and score goals. We've been top 2 for 7 out of the last 8 seasons and we have NO wingers like these and we wonder what we are lacking? Gimme a break. Kalou is crap... i know we have some kalou fan boys here but that's probably out of pity more than anything. In the big games he doesn't show up and for all the skill and tricks he has, he rarely beats defenders and creates anything. His finishing is woeful. Malouda is similar, he does score goals tho but when he's not happy, he just sulks and does nothing. The midfield is obvious to me now too. Lampard is only a goal poacher now, he's a spent force like Ronaldinho, Scholes, Gerrard, Vieira, Kaka, etc. He needs to be a bit part player and the team needs to be built completely around Ramires. Ramires is a brilliant player, has everything and he could be a massive player for us next season. Essien should be the holding midfielder and we need to try and somehow look for a younger Lampard, a midfielder with an eye for goal. Lampard suffered the injury and said he will never be the same again so why play him every game? He's 32 now, he's lost so much agility and just looks so laboured and slow around the whole pitch. Can still pop up with a goal but we need more than that for our main midfielder. Mikel and Essien can interchange but i don't fancy them together on the same pitch. I wouldn't even mind if Essien was sold because his injuries have certainly took their toll on him. This season, Michael Essien was not himself and alongside Lampard who had a career threatening injury too, the midfield was over run so much this season, both of them were about 70% max of what we know. Benayoun was another one we had injured for ages but he still has the quick feet and agility to be a real influence in the team, his physique helps i suppose. he was excellent against Wigan and certainly has a lot more in his locker than Lampard and Essien so he certainly must be considered more next season as he still has 2 good years left. Up front is anyones guess.... If we play one up front, we must play 2 real wingers because playing people out of position just to try n fit them into the team is never gonna work. Either play Torres with Drogba just behind like Rooney does with Harnandez or play one with 2 GENUINE wingers. Danny Sturridge might be back next season and he's a brilliant player. Maybe he could be the answer for a winger but again, he's more naturally a striker so that just presents more headache. If he wants to be a striker then he's gotta leave because he wont get ahead Drogs or Nando unless Drogs moves on. OUT: Kalou - Awful final ball, no real threat, misses so many chances and never shows up in the big game Malouda - Inconsistent, doesn't have the pace or the trickery to beat defenders, another one who doesn't show up in the big games and when things aren't going his way, he just sulks and does nothing. Plays well 1/4. Apart from his early season form in August and September, he's done nothing Anelka - Well, he's no winger, he wont get a game up front, he laboures on the ball and slows down every attack, he also loses the ball too much. He has the odd brilliant game but again, when does he do it against the big teams? He's another bully of a minow and he's past 30 too Bosingwa - As a right back, which is his position, he's fucking shit. He's always caught out of position, he bottles so many challenges, has no strength and when he does finally use his pace and overlap, his final ball is always of very poor standard. Ferreira - Age, not been playing and getting a bit slow now. Still been our best RB this season tho imo but looks like he's going. Zhirkov - Just seems as tho Carlo doesn't have any trust or faith in him. Possible out: Essien - 2 bad knee injuries left him out for almost a year and he's not been the train or the bison we all know. Been very subdued this season and not had any what you could call 'great games'. Cash in whilst we still can? Drogba - Torres imo was signed to be Dids' replacement and at £50m surely he's gonna be the main striker now, especially now Drogba is 33 and Torres only 27. He's suffered with Malaria this season for a lot of the campaign and only started to get back to his best within the last 4-6 weeks. Maybe at his age, he's on his way out. Also Danny Sturridge could come back and be Torres back up striker, and after the season he's had for Bolton, you couldn't back against him being great for us in season 11/12 I won't discuss 'ins' because quite fankly we could be here all summer but we need a creative midfielder and 2 wingers 100% Bottom line....... change is needed
-
Has to be the Torres signing, completely unexpected when he handing in a transfer request then suddenly it was on.
-
I don't agree with some things he does but he won the double last season and is looking like finishing 2nd this season. Regardless of hows it was done, these are facts. He has to have at least 1 more year. Be absolutely disgusting if not. Heard something about Zola coming back as his number 2
-
That Zola goal against Wimbledon is actually my fav goal of his ever, can't believe i forgot that. I even remember watching that in the kingsfisher pub in Ewell....great day that was when i was 10 A bit of revenge for them doing us 4-2 at the bridge n all, bastards.
-
29 is hardly a wrinkly old cripple. Tbh surely if we can get him on the cheap, it can't be that bad of a thing but i rather just play Benayoun more, he's premiership proven at least. If we have Benayoun and Ramires, what would Kaka do?
-
£5 a year, is that it? I'd do that with no problems because to be honest £5 a year is nothing. I can give negative rep anyway it seems.... I'd always help out with this place if needed. Seems a bargain

Religion is a no no for me because following certain beliefs aint gonna change anything that happens to you. It makes no sense to me, we only live once, i don't wanna spend it listening to how i should live it with so many pointless boundaries wondering if there really is a god or not. And who cares about heaven and hell, you will only find out when your dead anyway so kinda pointless. God built the earth and every other planet and all the suns and every kind of material and atom and whatever, yeah... likely.... What is god? how was god made? And God isn't a name, it's a thing, it's a God, how many Gods, what is this Gods name, it can't be God lol... It's impossible to believe because quite frankly it's impossible to happen. Sometimes i feel someone is controlling what happens to me but that's all in the mind. You'll never know so there's point debating it. Just live your life how you want and when you die, see what happens I believe in the spiritual part tho because the energy when you die has to go somewhere. I know people who have encountered ghosts and seen them.

I'm looking forward to next season, i just really hope that Carlo gets 1 more year because although i don't often agree with his decisions, i wanna see if he's good enough to change things and i wanna see how he's gonna bounce back. 2nd or not, it's been a pretty poor season but thanks to Arsenal, Man Utd, Tottenham and Man City all having blips like us, it loked better than it actually was. This is the first time we've lost 8 games since 2002/2003 and that was before Roman which was a really good season considering where we were. The premiership is changing though to be fair, lots of more stronger teams and even the bottom 3 are beating the top 4 so maybe it's no surprise we've lost a few but it's quite weird winning the league losing 6 matches and then coming 2nd losing 8. 2 good positions losing 14 matches... I just Carlo has a plan for next season and Roman has the will to just keep him for another year tio let him redeem this season

Let all the mancs and scousers kill each other. -
That's all we need next season. A creative, playmaking midfielder like a young Benayoun or just use Benayoun more. And 2 proper wingers with pace like we had with Duff n Robben. If we're gonna go 4-5-1, we need 2 true attacking wingers. Our team isn't far away but it's a lot worse that it was from 2004/2007
-
Nothing to lose at all. Guaranteed UCL, can't win the league... Try some new things for 2 matches. Cech Bosingwa - Wing Back Luiz Terry Alex Cole - Wing back Lampard Essien Ramires Torres Drogba Why not, who cares if it messes up
-
I just wish he'd get some confidence back and some belief about how good he is. He gets the ball n looks nervous and subdued
-
Why? Didier is much better at them from all distances. Lampard just hits the wall 24/7

Who was even worthy of wearing Blue today?
Ollie replied to wisey11zola25's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
In a match where we HAVE TO WIN there's no point playing Essien and Mikel in the same team. Ramires had to start today. Mikel shows his worth against teams like Bolton and Stoke when we're in for a battle. not today against them. Mikel is a decent player but not in these kinds of game. -
He's got an amazing free kick anyway so will never tell him to stop shooting.

Cech Terry Ivanovic .. .... -
What do u expect? We were shit, we bottled it and were never gonna come back. Wow Charlton, opening day of the 02/03 season when Carlton Cole scored for us lmao how times change. 9 years without coming back from 2-0 down shows no belief although tbh we aint been 2-0 down too often since Roman took over. The match today was over after 1 minute, that's just the way we are.
-
We should build our defence around Alex and Terry next season without changing it and unsettling it. Alex is a great defender. If i was to name the best 2 pairings, Luiz wouldn't even get in. Terry - Ivanovic Terry - Alex Ivanovic - Terry - Alex - Ashley Cole = Sorry Luiz Luiz seems a more midfield player to me. Whoever said he's a defender was obviously high at the time. He, like Bosingwa is no fucking defender. Not sure how he'll get into midfield tho unless he replaces Lampard (more than possible) or plays with Lamps in a 4-4-2. Maybe i don't know what i'm saying but he doesn't look like a defender to me
-
If he's gonna keep showing that he can't manage in big games and not know how to change things, what hope do we have? This is our 14th defeat in 2 league seasons under him.... I'd say that that's not a very good record. Give him 1 more season and see if he knows what do do after a trophyess awful campaign.

Gutted. The UCL game against them, 2nd leg we conceded 21 seconds after the kick off. Today we conceded 35 seconds after kick off, talk about not learning a lesson! what an embarrassing shower of shit that was in the first half. Today, i realised that Man Utd are a better team, have a better manager and have better players than us. It's sad, it's upsetting, but it's true and we have to deal with it. They knew their roles, they knew their positions, they believed in themselves and they had so much control it was disgusting to watch, knowing that i was watching a match that my team was so much second best made me sick, one of the worst 90 minutes i've ever sat through. Things have to change now, no more Lampard playing every minute, no more Essien, Kalou, Malouda, and Mikel making MY team look like a bunch of idiots not having a clue what they are doing and ffs this manager needs to know how to change things when its going shit or just change the manager. It's ok saying we shouldn't be this close anyway and great effort to the lads for coming back but we fucked everything from November - January and that's the reason why we're here with 2 games to go knowing that we can't win fuck all and realistically we've been here for 4 months knowing we'd win fuck all but only hoping for a monumental Man Utd fuck up that, in truth, was never gonna really happen. Manchester United have more bottle, more character, better players, players that fit their positions, a better manager and a true home fortress. Congrats to them, DESERVED winners of the title. We need changes, serious changes. We were lucky against West Ham, Tottenham and Stoke and we were lucky against Utd too at home and even Bolton at home. Quite amazing that we're 2nd because we've been SHIT this season. I love Chelsea more than anything and i hope to god that we change things and recruit some quality in the summer because this season has been hard to take to be honest. In a normal season we'd be 5th at best. Anelka, Kalou, Malouda, Mikel and Bosingwa aint fit to wear the shirt. Essien and Lampard will never be the same due to injuries suffered in the past. We need to ditch the shit now because, with Man City and Tottenham becoming a bigger force, we won't even finish top 6 at this rate. 8 defeats? It's unacceptable
-
Liverpool's season was over and a part of them wanted us to win. I still think Gerrard's pass back was dubious lol.
-
I'm sure they are a lot more nervous than us. They had the title wrapped up by march and now look. I'm nervous but we shouldn't really be in this position so i'm happy to be nervous rather than having fuck all to play for which is what i was expecting a few months back for this game, especially when we lost to Arsenal. If you're not nervous, you aint a true football person, we're all nervous. I checked Red Cafe and they are bricking it too, it's what football is all about. Nothing we can do tho except get behind the team 100%. The away fans traveling down are vital today.
