Like the sun would actually be told that. I personally wouldn't mind if they went but i wanna see Torres n Drogs explode as a partnership. When we bought Sheva, Drogba got 33 goals that season. I still believe DD has 2 good years left.
-
No point thinking that, in the long run, whether we win, lose or draw, we'll still be a lot more successful than them. Anyone can beat anyone in one game. I would be surprised if they beat us though.
-
Cech Petrescu - Gallas - Terry - Cole Makelele Poyet - Lampard Zola Hasselbaink - Drogba Manager - Jose Mourinho Subs: Cudicini, Gudjohnsen, Carvalho, Le Saux, Essien, Robben, Dasailly P.S Chelsea's best strike partnership ever was Eidur and Jimmy tho. These picks are as individuals in the positions.

I don't think Fergie is the one who make Rooney what he is because he went from Everton to Man Utd for £27m so he must've been pretty good at Everton. Some people are just natural, i don't think Frank Rijkaard is responsible for Messi for example. Rooney has been non existent since his injury against Bayern. Oh and Andy Carroll, well... he's an £8-10m player at this stage in his career, if anything is a 'panic buy' it's that. I like him, he's got everything in his locker but he's not there yet. He's only been in the premiership for 5 months and had a few cameo appearances in 2008/9. £35m is beyond a joke but it made sure they had Torres' replacement with an unrefusable (is that even a word?) offer.

Blues to play Reading in the FA Cup - should they beat Everton
Ollie replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Wanna try and go to the Everton replay, aint been for ages. Very tough game tho but if we get through, we should ease past reading really and suddenly were on the FA Cup charge once again. Most of u wanted a Championship team at home so u got what u wanted lol. I couldn't care less who we did get, we're better than everyone. -
Not sure about the thinking of leaving out Drogba, especially the way he torments liverpool. In all honestly, i think we should play the same team as yesterday with the exceptions of Malouda for Kalou and Ramires for Obi. Our defence was great yesterday and we should only bring Torres on at some point in the 2nd half. My team was kind of like how i want Chelsea to play generally now. I agree there's no need to start Luiz in this game, Torres is 50/50 for me. We were very good yesterday, no big changing is required, at least in the first half. Luiz should be eased into the team, Torres well, it's up to him. He's already ready imo but new players usually start on the bench to get a huge ovation when they come on.

I'd have Anelka just behind Torres and Drogba in a free, Joe Cole like role, seriously. I think we should go all out to destroy those scouse history channel abusing shitbags. They can burn Torres Liverpool shirts if they want, just saves us from doing it for them, i'd happily help tho. Liverpool are playing shit, their defence is weak, go for it, blitz them. Cech Ivanovic-Luiz-Terry-Cole Essien Ramires-Lampard Anelka Drogba-Torres Wouldn't that be amazing?
-
That was a fantastic performance, a real pleasure to watch. Anelka was brilliant, Lampard was brilliant, even Kalou was also very good but still did his usual miss a sitter trick that he does in his usual consistent way. We were unlucky for both goals we conceded, Cech unsighted for the first and then the 2nd goes under the wall but what character we showed. That's our best performance this season and if i'm not mistaken, we were just as good there last season. At 2-2 i was so worried that the goal wouldn't come but was so happy when we got it. We have the best Captain in the world, if anyone can tell me a better defender this season, anywhere, i don't know him. As LDN said, Anelka, Lampard, JT and Kalou were our best players today in that order but there were also lots of other good displays. Very proud today. I think the Torres signing gave the players an extra buzz too. The confidence was back today. Chelsea are back, bring on the tire thieves.
-
He was amazing today, where the fuck that came from fuck only knows but it was a stunning response to Torres' signing (just answered my own question there i think). Everything he did today was of the absolute highest quality His performance today and Chelsea's performance today simply means Torres starts Sunday's match from the bench. If Torres starts, it has to be in a 3 WITH Anelka and Drogba. Liverpool are a bit short in defenders too so maybe a tempter to go blazing.

Repetive posting but i can't blame ya, i still can't believe my eyes. He also said Drogba is the best striker in the world by far. Roman, i'm sorry to have lost faith in you, i can only worship and bow down to you now. I'm even pleased your Russia got the world Cup now too lol, i love u that much. Now we need to see 3 things: 1) Torres to be comfirmed as Chelsea's Number 9, should be a formality tho as we don't have one lol. 2) Will we go 4-4-2? 3) Will he make his first appearance against Liverpool? Think we've probably just gained a Million more fans too and more ppl will use Chelsea on Fifa So happy i could cry
-
He was never happy in liverpool from the start when he realised what a scum hole he was in and now they are mid table, he's gonna get out asap, and when it's chelsea and west london etc his eyes must've lit up. Hope this deal would hurry the fuck up tho, i've just not been the same today, this is as big a signing as sheva, if not bigger. Can't believe ppl are knocking it, it's crazy. He's not in form but he's 26 and has 5 good years left to turn it around. fucking madness
-
Spurs have gone mad, offering £38.5m for Aguero, £30m for Rossi, £36m for Lorrente and another big sum for Negredo. WTF! Why have they got all this money lol,
-
He's got £7b so why should £100m matter. I don't mind if we spend £200m on 3 players if it makes us the best team in the world. We might come up dry for now but the intentions are good. Can't wait til the summer, SPREE
-
Why oh why did i chose Westerlo vs Lierse, fuck fuck bollocks. Westerlo were 1-0 up too. These 2 bets woulda bagged me about £9,000. I won nothing, not best pleased lol.
-
That would be no lol. Well FA Cup is tough, so many upsets happen. Arsenal, Man City, Rangers, Real Madrid, West Ham and Ajax or something would make a good accumulator for sunday. Won't be too far wrong. Wanna cry again tho... AJAX WILL WIN. 1 away from £5000. Gutted now for sure.
-
Was a good first half, we came into it and created chances, they created chances and i was upbeat at half time because we seemed to be getting through them and were controlling the tie imo. The second half was piss poor. Everton decided to step it up and take the game to us and we couldn't counter attack them and do the same to them. We were very much second best in the 2nd half and thanks to Essien's block from Coleman, we're at least in the hat. Kalou took his goal well too, not sure the ball was meant to him but decently taken. Overall, i'm happy with the chance to take em back to the Bridge, altho we can't seem to beat them there, we'll get em this time
-
Chelsea have a big following in serbia i notice. Welcome to TC, have fun. Must be happy we have a serbian player too and that he's fucking awesome.
-
well he wants to come and he's told liverpool to consider it. Funny reading the early posts of this topic lol, from impossible to possible in 3 seasons I reckon £50m would do it, seriously. Not been great or fully fit in the last half a year or so but he's just 26 years old and he is pure class. He's got 5 good years left, and he can play UCL. People saying they don't want him are just mad lol. Pace, shooting, heading, tap-ins, 25 yard belters, aggression, scores in big games always... Sign him up.
-
I think £9m is too much for a crap player. To get 7/10 he's have to be about £4-5m for me
-
Can't happen again, surely... This was for £5,000 and the 'One Wrong' shit is happening again. Hope 2 or 3 of them fuck up.
-
how can Alex not be 10/10 on the basis of value for money? He was £1m...It was actually €1m lol. Peanuts. If Kalou was signed for like £50,000 he would be 9/10 rather than 2/10.
-
Getting boring this, just wish it would hurry up. It's virtually done and will be done. They want more money up front, like it makes much difference.
-
We got the best from Gallas and Cole. Take that, Arsene.
-
This is about value for money, not what i rate them out of 10... Cech - £7m = 10/10. Cheap, young, safe, brave, the best in the world on his day. Ferriera £16m = 6/10. Good servant for us in 6 seasons but £16m.... he's not been THAT good Ivanovic £9m = 10/10. Cheap signing in todays market, would be worth £25m now for sure Alex £1m = 10/10. £1m? Snip and 100% worth at least that. Bargain of the century. Ashley Cole £5m + Gallas = 10/10 brilliant business, didn't think it would be but £5m is nothing and Gallas has been on the decline since leaving us wheras Ash has played his best ever football in the chelsea blue. Bosingwa £16m = 5/10. Weak defender, bit of a bottler and very inconsistent. Zhirkov £18m = 5/10. Aint played much and not been consistent enough when he has Mikel £20m = 3/10. £20m for that? Give me a break. Can't pass, shoot, stay awake or look bothered Essien £24m = 8/10, great signing but having periods of inconsistency of late and having a pretty ropey season. Ramires £18m = 6/10. Looks decent, but not for £18m. Lampard £11m = 11/10. Our best ever signing imo, didn't want him but so glad we got him. Been outstanding for a decade. Benayoun £5.5m = N/A. Can't tell yet. Malouda £13m = 7/10. Steep price but he's looked like a real player in the last 2 and a half seasons. Anelka £15m = 7/10. Scores goals but goes out of position and labours on the ball too much. Strolls through games. ## Kalou £9m = 2/10. Useless, Talentless, over priced, wasteful, weak, crap final ball, shit in big games. Does however score when we're already 3-0 up and against shit. Sturridge £6.5m = N/A. He's got the ability but not been allowed to show it in meaningful matches. Drogba £24m = 9/10 When he want's to play, he's devastating, but that's when he can be bothered.
