I wonder if Alaba is an option for £40m Far better than chilwell. Can play dm and CB in a pinch too. Last year of contract. Who else needs a lb? Not Madrid or barca. Or Juventus. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

You are allowed to be sceptical of a signing lol its not like they read the forums and our criticism dents their confidence or something Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Werner gets physically bullied. He *can* succeed if he moves like Vardy who has a very similar skillset Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

But that doesnt make much difference to my point. If Werner is to play as our main striker he is going to fail as a focal point. But there are plenty of examples (firmino) of strikers which move away from goal but are still successful central strikers. That firmino drops deeper than Werner doesnt change that Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Firmino moves all over the shop Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Too fucking right. Someone said havertz and I'm gonna play along like its 2004 and get excited. Dreaming during the transfer window is a good in and of itself regardless of whether it actually happens lol Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I almost want a CB more than I do a LB. Defence has been atrocious. But I dont even know if a CB with sort it. Is jorginho really defensively good enough? I dont think so. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Agreed but I want to stress just how average Werner is when playing deeper Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

BTW, theres no way Werner is a better wide player than pulisic. Christian has better dribbling and passing. His passing is so underrated. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I like this. Mount vs RLC is good competition. Kante, jorginho kovacic for 2 places is good competition. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I actually hope he plays as the main striker in a 433 but not as as hold up player obviously. It's fine for him to move left and the winger takes his space. Kind of similar to what firmino does. Just praying this buy doesnt mean 442. Pulisic would have good movement from the left as would mount from behind. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I'm kind of disappointed (but at the same time intrigued) because we are going to have to change formation. Lone striker his only chance of succeeding in the PL is to try to play similar to Vardy, otherwise he is so easy controlled physically. 442 is such as shit formation we would suffer from it. So I guess he plays as a wide 'striker' either 433 or 4231. If he plays as a number 10 you may as well call it a 442 with him as second striker. Hope not. We needed mount in number 10 because he would drop back and be a 3rd cm when we didn't have the ball. As I see it, we've most likely bought a wide player, not a striker. Tammy and giroud again? If he plays as a lone striker he'll struggle. Bullied in the Bundesliga physically and wont have as much space to run in behind. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

There you go. No one here is defending the rioting/looting Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

That could be a major step forward in reducing police brutality imo. It's so far behind other countries. This is something I'm pulling from a vague memory, but wasnt there a clause or something where police would be marked down (paid less?) If they didn't catch any criminals/giving drivers tickets/whatever. Basically encouraging police officers to look for offences anyway? Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Exactly. I have no doubts policing in the US is the most difficult job for a police officer in the world. The standards must mirror that, they should aim for the best police officers in the world. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I was told somewhere that the US (all over or depends by state?) Has a measly six months training in order to be a cop. Compare to Germany where its 3 years including psychological testing. Have no idea what the UK training is like though. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

MSNBC with the stellar conversation. Thinks rioting and protesting Covid are the same thing; "What do you make of the President’s reaction to all of this sort of protests? … there were two tweets, Rochelle, from the President — one May 1st, one May 29th — the May 1st one where he says the Governor of Michigan “should give a little and put out the fire.” “These are very good people, but they’re angry.” The 29th one, of course, dealing with black folks, “These thugs are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd. I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to the governor. The military is on the way.” Yep. [emoji854] Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

It doesn't take a genius to see how this worsens. It already has. Today or yesterday (cba to check the time difference) a cop was walked up on from behind by a 'protester' a shot in the head. Preach it. In another area, you had a group of police that had the national guard with them shot at from a crowd. Police and NG shoot back. Innocent guy in the crowd shot. Black guy just to throw a bit more fuel on the fire. Gun sales up 80% apparently. Antifa making things worse. So far trump has done nothing. He's a weak leader. Threatens to use the army to bring control. Oh now he's a dictator. Same usual culprits. For the right you got fear mongering about antifa coming to the rural areas to start the 'revolution' making people with guns even more anxious to unload. The whole country is fucked mate. Need some calm, reasonable heads to prevail before this shit gets ridiculously deadly and the culture war becomes near unfixable Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

The post you responded to said that it was a problem that peaceful protests have developed into rioting and looting and it's this problem which may need the army to step in. Its 2020, with global news that's goes 24/7. It's pretty clear that looting is a major problem that's pissing people off. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I dont know what the orders have been so this is speculation, but it looks like many cities have told their police departments to retreat from the front lines? Curfews are in place there are some places the police are trying to stop the looting but look at the fucking state of New York. I'm telling you this shit is frightening because you've got some pissed of people with guns itching for antifa to start shit in the suburbs. You've already had a sheriff in Florida tell looters that he WANTS home owners to shoot back if there house is attacked/looted/set on fire. A business owner in Minneapolis was recently released free of charges for shooting someone trying to loot his shop. It's ready to pop off. I've got some hope that these antifa kids aren't completely suicidal stupid even though they are clearly cnuts Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
