The usual suspects for Chelsea having mediocre games. Is Schurrle really a better player than Moses was for us last season? I think not. Poor transfer windows have done us little good in the last 4 years or so. That's the main reason why City are ahead of us, quality wise.
-
ZERO shots on target in the first half seems like a great plan.
-
You forget that he's also incredibly physically weak. He'll be physically dominated by most CB's in this league. And Low plays him as a winger. Schurrle was originally a striker in Mainz, but got converted to a winger. I'm not sure if that move did his career any good. He is only useful with space in front of him.
-
I seriously think Mourinho has to change the formation back to a 4-2-3-1 and sub out either Ramires or Lampard for either Willian or Oscar. There are just not enough bodies in attack. It's so fucking frustrating. ZERO fucking shots on target. If Mourinho is not proactive at halftime, we won't win this match.
-
Most won't say it, but I blame Jose partly for the line-up and formation today. He got it wrong. You simply can't leave out both Willian and Oscar and change from our best formation (4-2-3-1) to a 4-3-3. And our players are not so good that when you change stuff, they respond to it. One change in personnel can fuck us up. I could predict we were going to find it tough with that line-up and formaton. Our only creative player is Hazard. And he's a winger. We should have gone with: Eto'o Hazard, Oscar, Willian Matic, Lampard/Ramires Spurs look very suspicious at the back on the few occasions we have actually attacked their box.
-
It's the freaking line up. The only players in that line-up with any discernible technique are Eto'o and Hazard. And as usual the fullbacks give us nothing in attack. Ramires and Lampard, nothing from the middle. We have been terrible going forward for far too long now. Far too long. Hopefully, we revert to a 4-2-3-1 in the 2nd half. Ramires/Lampard out. Oscar in. And if things don't change in the next 15 mins, Schurrle for Willian.
-
It's crazy that those two are on the bench and Ramires starts. We don't have enough creativity to bench those two at the same time, it's as simple as that. Wasted first half so far in a game we must win.
-
Ramires is fucking AWFUL. What good thing has he done in this game? Defensively or offensively? fUCK
-
Ramires is having a mare. I'm sorry, but the line-up and formation have been poor. Most people were complaining before the game started and we have been proven right so far.
-
Is Ramires even on the pitch? Haven't noticed him
-
When we play without a 10, the transition play from defence to midfield is so poor. No one to carry the ball into attack
-
This game already has bad signs, wow
-
BASTARD LINESMAN!
-
Torres injured is not good at all. Eto'o played 90 mins for Cameroon and the line-up Jose has picked suits Torres more. Very, very bad sign actually.
-
Ramires was awful at White Hart Lane. Why play him there again Jose? Is he really bothered by Lennon? Ramires is absolutely hopeless in the final third. Watch him give balls away like a virgin.
-
I don't like this line-up. At all.
-
Forget it. Real will never sell Varane. Their fans wax lyrical over him and Perez is a big fan. The only chance of signing him is if the player get's frustrated about a lack of game time. Ancelotti (who hardly ever trusts young players) prefers Pepe and Sergio Ramos.
-
No player plays at the top level 90% of the time, get real. Maybe 80%, not 90%. And Hazard is world class. His numbers this season are better or on par with the other world class wingers out there bar Cristiano (but Ronaldo isn't really a pure winger) And excluding numbers, his ability alone speaks for itself. I'm surprised there are Chelsea fans that still think he isn't world class. Hazard has been world class since his last season at Lille. And Oscar is not great, just good. He still has a lot to prove. I believe it's all happened a bit too quickly for him, and it's starting to catch up to him.
-
Apparently just played fantastically for Serbia. Too bad he played the full 90 though.
-
What a scary sight, FUCK these digusting friendly matches. Hazard almost suffering a serious injury just now
-
Still a quality player. I know the back four is settled now, but Cole can be given a look-in verses the relegation fodder and defensive minded teams willing to sit back at the Bridge. We need a natural LB playing in these games as Azpi isn't that comfortable on the overlap.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but majority of Oscar's caps for Brazil have been friendlies against the likes of China, SA, and Iraq in this Brazilian world tour. It's easy to shine when you are the world cup hosts playing these terrible footballing countries. You don't have to play through the brutal CONMEBOL qualifiers. This is an important factor people forget.
-
You can't really compare playing for Chelsea in the PL to playing against a shockingly poor South African side who aren't even interested in defending.
-
Mandzukic is the one that you're overhyping he is nowhere as good as you think he is. Plus he is a bigger douche than Costa.
