  1. Fucking hell.... "Woeful Barcelona side" Do you reckon Scunthorpe could beat this "Woeful Barcelona side"?
  2. Whats the point when you just deny stuff that is blatantly in front of you, to be honest, people like you are one of the main reasons I prefer watching Chelsea away from home.. You just don't get as many cocks travelling away.
  3. Attack you??? Ffs You're lovely really... Is that better?
  4. I can't be arsed, just read your own post where you mention Lampard playing 160 times on the spin. If you can't see it then there is something wrong. The point it proves to me is that in my opinion you have a lack of understanding of the game and player mentality of this country.
  5. So, you do think he should of rotated Lampard... Which proves my point.
  6. So why would you question Mourinhos reluctance to "rest" a player who clearly wanted to play every minute of every game, and was obviously able to not just play, but play to a level that had him nominated for all sorts of shit... I do think by reading this forum that there are quite a lot of people who do not understand the English game/league.
  7. Spot on, what else is cringeworthy is looking through some of the threads on here and looking at posts from people criticising Mourinho, or questioning him playing Lampard 160 games on the spin.... I mean fuck sake, did this geezer even see Lampard play then? 20 plus goals every season, we can't even get a striker to do that these days.. Some proper mongs about.
  8. Eto'o reminds me very much of George Weah, both black, both won African player of the year numerous times, both came to Chelsea too late for us to see the best of them... And looking at their taste in clothes they both seem to get dressed in the dark.
  9. Who thinks without a trophy this year Jose will be still be here? I hope so Are you for real?
  10. Mikel is so average it is unreal, and to think we went to court with United to sign this geezer. Shocking.
  11. Time to pack your bags Peter, you'll be number 2 keeper come August.
  12. I ain't saying it was his fault but in my opinion Peter Cech is on his last legs at Chelsea.... I seen Mikel in Central London the other week while I was driving, a fella stopped to get a a picture taken with him, my only regret is that I didn't mount the pavement and Iron him out.
  13. Personally, I think he is more likely to be doing a stretch at 26 than be amazing.
  14. He ain't proven in the premier league though is he? I'd say it was more a case of the jury is still out on him.
  15. The milk cup run in 1984, millwall home and away ( not for the faint hearted) Man city sheff Wednesday and semi against Sunderland, I never have forgiven Dale Jasper for giving away them two penalties at Roker Park Also, United v Chelsea FA cup final 1994, I blew out a weeks holiday in Cyprus to stay in England and go to this game... What a mug I was. Also, Brugge away in Europe the following season, my first European away game with Chelsea. What a few days that was.
  16. Mourinho is right.. Wenger is a specialist in failure, well, for the last eight years he is anyway. Look at Arsenals record before Wenger took over, it ain't great, he took over and changed it with some shrude business in the transfer market... Anelka, Petit, Vierra and Thierry Henry stand out for me as his best buys. He then built on this again with the occasional shrude deal... Them shrude deals are getting fewer and fewer, and his stubbornness in refusing to change his ways in the modern game is his downfall. It is all about continuity, Fergie carried on his success and that is why he is the best manager to ever have managed in this country, if Wenger had continued his success he would be challenging Fergie for that title, bus as he hasn't won a trophy for 37 seasons now, he will be remembered in the same way Rafa the waiter will be, some great stuff and some shit stuff.
  17. I asked the missus what she wanted for valentines day, she said " I''ll give you a clue, ex England goalkeeper". She means flowers, she's getting seaman.
  18. I don't think it was over the top, Wenger is an irritating fool, who is actually "a specialist in failure". These two have drawn swords before, Mourinho always mugs him off, on and off the pitch.
  19. There are changes that have recently gone on behind the scenes at England at youth levels , that I think will play dividends in ten years. We will never change the way the England senior team plays it football unless things are changed at under 7,8,9 etc in ALL the academies and school of excellences, not just category 1 clubs. I watch it week in week out, and there are more clubs that play long ball stuff than on the ground. These clubs should have funding stopped or some other sort of financial punishment dished out, otherwise they will never change.
  20. I see where you're coming from but I think the small clubs are what makes our pyramid system so good... Fleetwood, Stevenage, Burton and all the others started out like my local non league team Wealdstone did, all dreaming of playing in the big league. To take that dream away just makes there leagues unimportant IMO. There could be some sort of set up though where Premier league clubs loan out 2 or 3 players to a certain club a season and then any player who comes through the lower league teams system goes to the premier league team they have ties with for a handsome price. This pretty much goes on anyway with some clubs always loaning out to a particular club in the lower leagues. I don't think it could ever happen though as there are just too many things that could get in the way like drawing each other in cups and all that sort of political tosh.
  21. I'm not sure that it's what is needed, if you take Patrick Bamford as an example, assuming he would have got into the Chelsea team for this league if it were up and running now. What would be best for him? Playing in the Premiership B League against mainly squad players and kids and a few experienced pros on the way back from injury, or half a season in league one and another half a season at the top of the championship banging goals in and coming up against experienced pros week in week out. Why only categorie 1 clubs? If it is about the development of ENGLISH youth as Scudamore suggests, a lot of the future England stars are currently at category 2 and 3 clubs.
  22. If he didn't have the bollocks to "come out" when he was playing, why do it as he leaves the game ? You could say he was going in through the back door doing it this way, but I suppose he is used to that. Unnecessary information, like anybody gives a toss about him, gay or straight.
