  1. Where's Pedro going, Villa? Cahill was a long time servant that did more good than bad for the club whilst Giroud has been a bench warmer for the most part. Not exactly like for like scenarios.
  2. At least it's a home win to build on. Need to follow it up against Burnley. Most certainly off? Wouldn't make sense to risk him either.
  3. I can't defend Michy on that one. Piss poor attempt
  4. Dreadful marking. VAR to the rescue again?
  5. James has been immense. That turn out of defence summed it up
  6. Can we just have comfortable afternoon where we bang in a few goals and all is rosy?
  7. You have to take the magnitude of the potential transfer into consideration with such comments.
  8. I'm pleased you brought the last bit up [emoji1]
  9. Brazil? Inter Milan own him - Giroud gets reunited with Conte
  10. He's owned by Inter and didn't exactly get an abundance of chances. I wouldn't be against the move, if Giroud/Alonso was thrown into the mix.
  11. OK, my mistake then. I thought you were disagreeing.
  12. Who's going to beat them? They have the bit between their teeth which City didn't have during their dominate period. Our home record is safe on the other hand.
  13. Crazy to see how dominate this Liverpool side despite their squad. They aren't losing a league game unless another CL run is on the cards.
  14. I didn't say experience in relegation battles [emoji23]
  15. He's an exciting talent but not sure it would be good business. I'd prefer us to go after attackers that are a bit more seasoned than those currently at our disposal.
  16. What happened to Sir Alex's second coming, Moyes? Ole still being in a job has little relevance to the route United have gone down since 2013. In case you weren't aware, they are currently on their FOURTH permanent manager (can throw Giggs' cameo in to add more fuel) in that time.
  17. I never said he did, but that is clearly the leading factor. He isn't exactly going to sack a manager if they're delivering trophies consistently. Where's elsewhere at this point (EPL anyway)? Arsenal & United aren't exactly giving managers ample time since both their long term managers stepped down. Results are arguably more important than ever right now, with the amount money at stake.
  18. We're going to end the day in a better position. Got to love the state of some of the teams (including us).
  19. Surely any individual that wants to make the step up and break the mold? Even though Roman's policy is cutthroat, it's like that for a reason. Ancelotti is the only manager I can think of that was arguably sacked prematurely.
  20. I thought Javi Gracia was July's flavour of the month. [emoji1]
  21. His finishing just seems atrocious, which doesn't come down to injury. Still waiting for his Prem goal
