I'm just stating which I'd prefer. However, in all fairness, neither will elevate us to title contenders. We should be solely targeting the best players available within our reach, not ones that are doing their bit for relegation sides or fifth choices for the sides we have ambitions of catching.

I'm all for that. We want players that play for the collective rather than themselves. I'm slightly surprised that people are so keen on this transfer but see Richarlison as a dire move. Also, the same individuals are happy to see us go for his Brazilian understudy (Jesus) too. At £50-60m for either, it shouldn't be hard to choose IMO.
