Sarri should figure out how to cover the centrebacks more effectively and find Kante a more fitting role. Right now he's trying to replicate his Napoli team and its Hamsik-Jorginho-Allan midfield but he might have to realize that at Chelsea there are different players available. I think would be more wise to play Kante as a LCM, covering Hazard, Luiz, Jorginho and Alonso/Emerson rather than as a RCM where he is currently being wasted. Other thing about our current system is that the right side is completely unable to create anything as Willian, Kante and Azpilicueta offer very little if anything going forward. Switching Kante's position could make the team more balanced both defensively and offensively. He's going to play pretty much every game this season though because the alternatives are not any better and the club probably isn't going to spend £50m on a new top CB in January. Therefore the best Sarri can come up with is protect him better. That means Kante should play more defensive role and someone other than Alonso should be playing LB.

Passing accuracy and most importantly, the speed at which the ball is being passed around, is nowhere near what he wants from his teams. The movement of players also seems very disjointed right now. It would be sad to see Christensen leave but de Ligt is easily the bigger talent. He's got that physical side as well that Christensen is just missing entirely. Selling Baka and Drinkwater to buy de Jong sounds like the greatest deal in history

Buy Frenkie de Jong. Buy Matthijs de Ligt. I'm not even asking, I'm giving an order. Any top team that doesn't target these two has no reason to exist
