Well, here we are again facing these tools. This time around, we are certainly the underdog, which could just play to our favor. Plus, has PSG had any real competition in awhile in Ligue 1? With the injuries and suspensions, the lineup could get tricky. But I am expecting this from Guus: - - - - Courtois - - - - Azpi - Ivanovic - Cahill - Baba - - Mikel - Cesc - - Willian - Oscar - Hazard - - - - Costa - - - - But based on recent form and the opponent, I would prefer this: - - - - Courtois - - - - Azpi - Ivanovic - Cahill - Kenedy - - Mikel - RLC - - Willian - Cesc- Pedro - - - - Costa - - - - I favor Kenedy at LB because of his physicality and speed above Baba. We have to have someone that can be physical and all over the place for 90 minutes with great ball skills to pair with Mikel at DM. It certainly is not Cesc. I have RLC there because of his size and he should be well rested. As someone else suggested, Willian with Mikel could work and you could slide Pedro over to the other wing and insert Hazard. I feel Pedro has earned a spot in the starting XI for this one. I do not want to see Oscar in the starting XI for this one. If you remember, PSG was VERY physical last year in these two matches. Thought they really shoved us around and beat Hazard to death with a foul every time in touched the ball. Should be a lot folks in here later today following this one. I hope it is our best effort of the season and we can squeak out a winner. Hope Costa has come to play not be the jester. Come on you Chelsea!!

Hate these clowns. Worse than Arsenal. Especially Verratti. Lets make sure to score one goal at least and then a draw or better would suffice. Having Ramires to pair with Mikel might have been a good option for this one considering Ivanovic-Cahill combo in central defense. But Ramires is gone do you pair RLC with Mikel? Do you keep with today's lineup of Pedro-Willian-Hazard and Costa up top? Or do you get Cesc in here for Pedro and move the others? Or Cesc in for RLC? Oscar? It will be interesting to see. I do not know much about Allegri. Can someone shed some light on his coaching style and tactics? Is he of the Mourinho & LVG mold of negative, holding football or is he more attack minded? Curious what the experts on here think and know about his tactics.

I am kind of the opposite opinion of the draw. Since it is at Stamford Bridge, I say bring on City! We are not going to win the trophy without beating one or two of the top clubs, so its at home and we are rounding into better form. I think it is a great chance for the players to make a statement. I think the Bridge will be loud for this one. In Guus we Truust! Come on you Chelsea!!

Very pleased and happy with the comfortable 5-1 win. Oscar could have had 5 or 6, but will take 3 Glad to see Traore in the game and in the net. Nice speed for the youngster. Let's run deep into the FA night and win this. Probably a good time to mix in some youth, start Kenedy, RLC and Baba. Rest Cesc and Costa. Is Costa hurt by the way or was it slight knock only today? As for replacing Costa in the XI? Not sure who. Remy just looked poor beyond words today. He looked good last year when in the XI late in the season or as a sub. He had a few key goals. Hell yes! I said in the pre-match I had a feeling we would put it together and play like "Chelsea" we know. They all played well today. Looked like last year except for a couple of Arsenal looks in the box. Cesc played a complete game. No questions asked. Oscar controlled possession like I have never seen from him. Costa looked like the Diego from the first half last year. Hope he did not pull a hammy. If we were going to put it together, this was a perfect game to do so,. Hope the Arsenal fans enjoyed that one as much as I did, because I was LOL enjoying this one. It's great to be a Chelsea supporter today! We have all been waiting for a true "Chelsea" performance all year, at least just once. And I am not talking about that 2-0 brawl earlier in the year. I mean one where we play world class football and beat someone of importance. What better time than today I say to all you Blues out there! I just have a feeling. Chelsea gets a late winner from the Arsenal's favorite Chelsea player, Diego Costa. 1-2 to the Blues. I cannot wait to get this one going. Come on you Chelsea!!

You have to say this for Diego, he never gives up. Thought his continued effort, spirit and runs got us back in the match. Thought we were dead and gone at 0-2. But here comes Diego. And then at 1-2, everyone starts giving maximum effort. Kudos to Diego and we need him healthy. Thought Cesc came to play today even though it was not evident until he was moved back with the Oscar-Matic change. Certainly can see Oscar is best option. Pedro needs to grab some bench for awhile. Kenedy was a spark and assume Hazard will be back vs Arsenal, otherwise Kenedy should start. Mikel and Cesc make for a decent midfield at the moment. We'll see how that progresses. John Terry? What else is left to be said? Legend and max effort all day. Courtois had some huge saves certainly. Let's challenge to get in the top 6-8 of the table and make a run to the FA Cup championship. This is probably the best we can do at this point. It would be great to get at least one point next Saturday. I believe out form over the past 6 matches is 10 points and in the top 6 for that period so that is some improvement. Let's keep up the intensity and make the end of the year very interesting. Not to sound like a broken record, but let's be a broken record anyway.......please get RLC and Kenedy on the pitch please at half! This team needs energy now. Most boring match this year. Not the worst Chelsea performance but worst passing I have seen from the Blues. Backline is okay, but will get burned if we don't get it together in midfield. it is so bad upfront today, I'd bring Oscar in for Cesc. Certainly need Kenedy for Pedro. RLC for Matic works for me too. Please make changes. Come on you Chelsea!!
