Great response after so many bad results. Willian MOTM for me (Sorry Salah, your's is coming though shortly). He did everything exceptionally. Complete performance. Also that was one of the most beautiful displays of teamwork we saw the whole season throughout the match. That's very positive sign for things to come!

Excellent choises today imo. We won the game and simultaneously 1) Eden rested for a half 2) Oscar completely rested 3) Willian as #10 & Salah first start -> they were fucking deadly today, exactly the kind of energy the team needed 4) We got to see Cole again but in some weird role. I think he wanted to check his co-op with Hazard probably. 5) ^^ ...so we also rested Willian for some minutes. 6) Gave Torres the full 90 minutes which was the right thing to do imo, to try and get a goal in and boost his confidence in the Bridge, the place he will be playing for a big big game in 3 days probably (but Torres being Torres failed to score when he had the chance). Also forgot to mention that the decision to play Luiz later in the game was very good, because we rested him and also because it seems that his usual mistakes comes after 45+ minutes of playing time.

Divine yet again. Along with Matic and Willian retrieved/blocked the ball countless times tonight. Huge huge contribution.

Sublime performance! #10 suited him very well today. Maybe his goalscoring ability gets shadowed in the right wing. We just have to wait and see how things work out since Oscar & Hazard can also play this role. Although i am a strong believer that the best combination includes Eden in the left.

Believe me the attacks in PL are powerful enough to capitalize on simple defensive mistakes similar to those we made in Paris. They are not so forgiving as I've seen in other leagues. Most of the teams play pretty straight forward and take their chances well. So that being said and also considering we have Matic cup tied (he really makes a difference) plus it's one thing to play for the league (whichever league) and another to play for CL, it's obvious that it's mostly our fault than your good attacking play. I'm not saying your attack is not good, I'm saying that we managed to stop that level of attack already in some of our league games while in tough situations. That's my point, we made some of the most terrible mistakes of the season in all competitions! Why not?
