Essien will play in central midfield. Zhirkov could probably play as a left-sided player behind Malouda... ... what baffles me, is what Mikel's gunna do. He doesn't play right side, unless he alternates with Essien during the game

Zhirkov needs a game or two. I feel there's a lot he can offer us down the left side, particularly with his pace. Plus he needs to get games under his belt, parctularly when you think, he's a member of the Russian national team, and there are qualifiers coming up. As for J-Mac, I hope he can come on too, while we're winning the game as well

I don't think Ramires has had a good game either, City close him down every time he gets the ball, so he finds it hard to make one of his impressive runs. I want to see McEachran wearing a lower shirt number than 46 next season!! He's a MASSIVE thing to come out of our ranks since JT! He reminded me of Scott Parker when he was with us, he has that presence in midfield that just makes things happen.... a playmaker, which is what we really need in the middle of the park! Soon as he came on, he owned the Newcastle midfield, and it was amazing to see!
