Unforgivable conceding against such a poor team. No excuse for the lacklustre defending from our double pivot and defence. It's a fair while until Monday but that's not the point. This should have been a confidence builder for that game and we have yet again let ourselves down defensively. Combine that with missed chances up front and we are in a bit of pickle again. Come on Chelsea, lets finish this like we should have in the first 90 minutes.

Well, that was a bit like pulling teeth but alas we are through as group winners! Huzzah! A vast improvement on last season but this performance did concern me a tad, not going to go overboard or anything though - De Bruyne looked slightly demoralised when he came on, but I was delighted to see him get some good touches here and there.. I'd be very sad if he left but wouldn't blame him. I'd love to see him spray some passes around from the Lampard position. Didn't have nearly enough time tonight. 13 minutes. Ugh. - Hazard and Willian were lively. - Ba did the job up front but nothing spectacular. - Tony Gale is a horrendous commentator who clearly isn't fond of Mr. Mikel. Not quite as bad as Niall Quinn but still, get rid Sky. Onto Palace now where I want goals, goals, goals. None conceded obviously!

Good to see Willian and Hazard buzzing around the pitch. Nice for Demba get his goal too. Hopefully we can get an early second goal and throw on De Bruyne! Come on Chelsea!!

Okay. I won't post a team of my own because most of you guys have covered what I want. Plus I don't think Jose reads my posts *sobs*. Will be tougher than we may think based on league positions. But I'm hopeful for a 1-0 or even 2-0 win. Torres got a double there last season so I expect him to start. Use Ba and his physical presence against Stoke. Then maybe play Eto'o against Steaua. Every striker's a winner!! A Schurrle sighting would be nice too. Just sayin' Come on Chelsea!!
