A good win against tough opposition. Oscar was class, but I dont like Eto!!! I would much rather have Fernando up front any day. I thought he tried harder in the time he was given than Eto did. We may be top of the league but lets not get carried away here guys. We will meet tougher opposition than Fulham so a vast improvement is required. Here's a thought.............Mikel has scored more Premiership goals this season that Ba, Torres and Eto put together. !!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry mate, I see he's your favourite player. But that guy has talent in abundance but has failed to impress me this season never mind the last game. For the money he earns and the talent he has I will still say his performance was disgraceful.....Hopefully he will correct my opinion against Fulham and prove he deserves to wear the Blue. I think Jose has to shoulder the blame for that fiasco.Hazard is becoming a hazard, Van Winkle Ginkle wasn't at the same game tonight and as for ETO ??? I really believe that Torres should be starting instead of him as he's only here for the money. I will say that service to the strikers was shite and if this is what our season is going to be like then we must seriously evaluate our goals (or lack of) for the season. The famous "Spine" of the team seems to have crumbled. We need to get back the "power" we had some seasons ago, I fear for our season. Bloody hell, I'm waffling here because I AM SO BLOODY FRUSTRATED. We have the players but we dont have the team !!!!!!!! Does that make sense ?

Pure rubbish tonite. We didn't play as a team. We were totally disjointed and never created anything that frightened the opposition. Basel controlled the whole game. Closed us down brilliantly and counter-attacked superbly. Now teams can see our weakness we are in for a long hard season unless Jose works his majic

Hi Guys, I was at that game and it was the greatest ever, and I mean ever Chelsea fightback. 3-0 down deep into the second half and we were dead and buried. I remember that this was a familiar situation back in those dark (but great) days. Then on comes Clive (flasher) Walker and he completely turned the game. He gained instant celebrity status that day. That season we didn't have a lot to cheer, but this has lived long in my memory as one fantastic moment in time. You would have thought we had won the Champions League that day. I'm 53 now but I have never been to a match since where we celebrated such a "non important" result with such fervour. It really made us happy. I also remember being at THe Baseball Ground, when a Chelsea fan poured hot tea/coffee or soup from the top deck down onto some poor unfortunate Derby County fans,. That made us happy too...LOL

Eto was average today. Barry nicked a sitter off his foot in the first half that a few seasons ago he would have gobbled up. We dont have "killer" strikers to frighten the opposition and I dont think that either Eto or Torres will win trophies for the club. Demba Ba even starting to look attractive as an alternative !!!!!!

Dissapointing result. I dont think Eto should have started. I doubt if Torres was too happy to lose his place in the side to a 32 year old has-been. We really lack a cutting edge up front. Everton has always been a tough place place to get a result but these are the grounds where you win Premierships. PS. Cahill is a much better defender than Luis. Bloody weekend ruined ..........Again !!!!!
