  1. I have a funny feeling that this guy might surprise us all and do the business for us. My reason for this is simple. Last season the guy looked bereft of confidence playing a bit part in a poor team, under a manager who really didn't want him and who definitely wouldn't have signed him. But now, the greatest manager in the world wants him. Now if this is not a major boost to your confidence I dont know what is !!. He has also had the experience of playing a season in the premiership and now realises what will be required to come out top next season. He will also have pre-season to work on his speed and to fit in with his new team-mates. This guy was awesome against us 2 years ago. There is no way that he can be as bad as he was last season again. I firmly believe Mourinho will restore this guys confidence and ability and that we will have gotten ourselves a real "player".........................I hope :blue scalf:
  2. I've watched the Cesc fabregas sending off again and really, it's a miscarraige of justice. I'm full sure he was in an offside position when he crossed that ball.
  3. I think we should try and get Diego a fight against Floyd Mayweather. He seems to enjoy the fighting more than the football lately
  4. This is going to be a strange game.......Absolutely no pressure to win or draw, and a chance to blood the young uns. A win would be nice but I would just like to see how our youths can manage against a Tony Pulis team. If they can hold their own against his team and the way they set up and play, they will be fine in the Premiership next year.
  5. Well said Stevie Gerrard, your interview after the match showed your true class.................Fucking none you muppet
  6. This comes from a United fan on "Redcafe" Sam "Congrats Chelsea, by far and away the best team in the league. They'll retain it next season with absolute ease too. Infact, as long as Jose is there I struggle to think they'll lose many, if any titles at all. If he's there for the next 5 years I could quite easily see them winning 4 of them. Hopefully him and Roman fall out again...and quickly. Hope the first bit comes true
  7. I may be 55 years of age and I cried when Chelsea beat Bolton to clinch our first premiership title.............and yep I cried again today. Fucking outstanding achievement blowing away our so called "Title rivals" Proud, proud....So fucking proud of this Club :blue scalf:
  8. Let's beat Palace first, then worry about "Guards of Honour" from the bottom feeders :blue scalf:
  9. If they dont it will just show them up to be bitter envious w@nkers. And you know I kinda hope (in a twisted sort of way) that they dont, as it would prove to the world what a sore bunch of sad losers they are. I would rather see Stevie G play against us than them giving us a guard of honour, because I am sure our fine Chelsea fans will ensure that he will remember for ever his final visit to Stamford Bridge, Home of the Champions :blue scalf: I personally would love to win it against Liverpool as I still remember Kenny Dalglish scoring at the Bridge and Liverpool winning the League that day For me it would be F@cking Karma and banish that hateful memory
  10. Breaking Arsenal news............Arsenal are changing the colour of their home kit next season. No joking, it's going to be GREEN with white sleeves. Apparently the white sleeves represent another blank season in the Premiership and the green?........Well that represents their envy towards us I think they'll look super
  11. You are seriously heading for the conversation that starts with her indoors saying "It's me or Chelsea"............Will you miss her ?
  12. Why are people saying we didn't attack in the second half? Watch it again and you will notice that on three separate occasions in the second half, Chelsea players broke down the pitch with players on the overlap after breaking up Arsenal attacks to be cynically hauled down, earning 3 yellow cards. You can't attack if you keep getting fouled.Give our boys credit. I thought we were fucking brilliant today
  13. Clearly we controlled this game Happy with the result Arsenal were never going to score,no matter how they tried Mourinho is a master tactician Perfect team performance considering we didn't have a fit striker In my opinion John Terry was immense Only two wins required Never going to be caught now Simply the best Chelsea......F@cking brilliant :blue scalf:
  14. I don't think he will be able to anticipate our strategy, because we don't know what that strategy will be..If you read my post you will see that I said that people are saying we should park the bus, and I think that that is was Wenger will set up his side to counteract. That's why I think that Jose wont "park the bus" Therefore Wenger won't anticipate our strategy
  15. Why is everyone saying "Jose will park the bus" against the Arse. Don't you think that Wenger will anticipate that and set his team up accordingly ? That's why I think that Jose will do quite the opposite, and will take the game to them, thus quietening the crowd and confusing the manager, and an early goal for us would be a body blow to them. That pitch suits our style of play and let's be honest, we are a better team than them so why should we bother parking the bus? We will win on Sunday, no worries. I am really looking forward to this match with a renewed confidence after our recent results. Although we haven't played well we are grinding out not just draws, but victories, and we are not conceding too many. (C Austin's punt and T Courtois blunder against Hull excluded) And finally..........I don't want to read any more Chelsea fans saying that they "don't mind if we lose to Arsenal"...........WE ARE CHELSEA, CHAMPIONS ELECT, AND WE DON'T LIKE LOSING TO ANYONE........EVER
  16. Just saw thew Van Gaal interview and had a chuckle to myself. Why? Because I just saw an experienced manager who knew he had just been ass-raped by Mourinho. Utd came as the team of the moment and Chelsea were (allegedly) limping towards the finish line and Van Gaal was going to wield a body blow to our title hopes. And what happens? Mourinho totally out-tacticed him, drawing him into his web and spanked him. He actually looked like a bloke that lost everything at find-the-queen, and was then asked was he happy
  17. A lot of people saying that "This was our worst performance of the season" Therefore, in my eyes, that makes it the BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE SEASON !!! because we won at a ground where we haven't won since 1996, on a pitch that wasn't watered all bloody week and the ball bounced like a balloon, also it as narrow as a back alley, limiting how we played our football and not allowing us to pass and move as we usually do. And the crowd......Well they're just scum and they are going back down where they belong. We kept a clean sheet, had one shot on goal, had no relevant bookings, scored one goal and left with three invaluable points. Job done in my book :blue scalf: Bet you all would have taken that result before the match ?? Performances are for pundits to analyse. To hell with them,we got the result
  18. Absolutely NOT. In 1970 I was 10 years old and my Dad supported Leeds f@cking United, and he was cock sure they were going to win the Cup Final. I saw the Chelsea kit at the time and loved it, with it's proud Lion and staff on the royal blue jersey and a brilliant white stripe on blue shorts. but the best was the number on the shorts. I had never seen this before. So Chelsea were my team and Osgood was my hero, and I have never regretted my choice. But boy, have they given me a rollercoaster ride over the past 45 years? And hopefully it ain't over yet !!!!
  19. Yes, he conceded one from 70 yards..........But he's saved plenty from 7 yards.
  20. This championship outfit will try and kick us out of it, and get our players booked or sent off. Lets hold our heads, score early, score twice if possible, and then take Matic off and bring Mikel on as the small ground will suit him. Fabregas wont get booked unless it's for retaliation
  21. Here's a little secret...........Courtois is.........HUMAN. And humans do make the odd mistake. But at times I think he's superhuman. There is not a keeper who could have gotten to that shot, and his positioning was correct for the tactics we were playing. He was playing as a keeper/sweeper.That shot was a one in a million. And really, it was the only way Stoke were going to score as they didn't have a shot from our half Yes, Cech is very good, but Courtois is great....................Anyway, we won, didn't we?
  22. I think they are a fake. Mail online says they are from some Brazilian online retailer, so I'll rubbish them. Anyway I think they are way to similar to recent shirts. Oh, and I bloody hate the white one..........too much like a French national jersey Would love to see retro seventies jerseys worn again........just plain blue and no bloody stripes, just the one on the shorts, the way we should be. Away strip should be yellow jersey, blue shorts with a yellow stripe and yellow socks. Yes I know it's dated, but I'm 55 and loved them kits
  23. I thought we started superbly. We penned them into their own half in the first 45 mins and were really on the front foot. Stoke couldn't get out of their own half. (They even had to score from their own half!!) i think the team was stunned after the wonder goal by Adams and it ruined a very solid first half performance. Hazard is a genius and Willian, who I was starting to doubt, really played inspiriingly. We played a lot better than we had been of late and deserved the three points. Stoke are always stubborn opposition and are never a pushover. They play dour football, interlaced with a smattering of thuggery. But it works for them and they get away with it. in the second half I always felt it was just a matter of time until we scored, and after we did we just played possession football, not really attempting to increase our lead. Stoke never threatened us all the game and their goal was a pure fluke. Overall a very solid performance from the lads. QPR next and my worry here is that both Fabregas and Matic are one booking away from a suspension, and that would put either of them out for the Man Utd game I think. And you can be sure there will be fireworks at Loftus Road !!!
