Why are people saying we didn't attack in the second half? Watch it again and you will notice that on three separate occasions in the second half, Chelsea players broke down the pitch with players on the overlap after breaking up Arsenal attacks to be cynically hauled down, earning 3 yellow cards. You can't attack if you keep getting fouled.Give our boys credit. I thought we were fucking brilliant today

I don't think he will be able to anticipate our strategy, because we don't know what that strategy will be..If you read my post you will see that I said that people are saying we should park the bus, and I think that that is was Wenger will set up his side to counteract.That's why I think that Jose wont "park the bus" Therefore Wenger won't anticipate our strategy

Why is everyone saying "Jose will park the bus" against the Arse. Don't you think that Wenger will anticipate that and set his team up accordingly ? That's why I think that Jose will do quite the opposite,and will take the game to them, thus quietening the crowd and confusing the manager, and an early goal for us would be a body blow to them. That pitch suits our style of play and let's be honest, we are a better team than them so why should we bother parking the bus? We will win on Sunday, no worries. Just saw thew Van Gaal interview and had a chuckle to myself. Why? Because I just saw an experienced manager who knew he had just been ass-raped by Mourinho. Here's a little secret...........Courtois is.........HUMAN. And humans do make the odd mistake. But at times I think he's superhuman. There is not a keeper who could have gotten to that shot, and his positioning was correct for the tactics we were playing. He was playing as a keeper/sweeper.That shot was a one in a million. And really, it was the only way Stoke were going to score as they didn't have a shot from our half Yes, Cech is very good, but Courtois is great....................Anyway, we won, didn't we?

I thought we started superbly. We penned them into their own half in the first 45 mins and were really on the front foot. Stoke couldn't get out of their own half. (They even had to score from their own half!!) i think the team was stunned after the wonder goal by Adams and it ruined a very solid first half performance. Hazard is a genius and Willian, who I was starting to doubt, really played inspiriingly. We played a lot better than we had been of late and deserved the three points. Stoke are always stubborn opposition and are never a pushover. They play dour football, interlaced with a smattering of thuggery. But it works for them and they get away with it. in the second half I always felt it was just a matter of time until we scored, and after we did we just played possession football, not really attempting to increase our lead. Stoke never threatened us all the game and their goal was a pure fluke. Overall a very solid performance from the lads. QPR next and my worry here is that both Fabregas and Matic are one booking away from a suspension, and that would put either of them out for the Man Utd game I think. And you can be sure there will be fireworks at Loftus Road !!!

This was a really high pressure game after yesterdays and todays results and a victory was a must but boy, was I pissed off at half time ? But credit to the boys they came out fighting in the second half. Courtois was superb, Hazard faultless and overall we deserved the victory. But worryingly. only three shots on target all game!! I have to agree with you. Fast free flowing attacking football, scything through the Yids defence time after time. reminds me of a team who were playing like that at the start of the season. I think they were called "Chelsea". But you wouldn't recognize them now

He did put in the cross for our goal today, and he should have had a penalty awarded to him, But he fucking fails to convert loads of crosses from good situations and because of his diving antics he will never be awarded a penalty. I think when he retires he should take up an acting career, or at least star in reality television. Starting with "Splash" alongside Tom Daley. Thats where his diving will at least be appreciated

Oscar needs to be moved on as he adds nothing to the side lately, and Fabregas ??? well I'm starting to believe that he really is only a "first half of the season player". he was very poor today.I screamed for Mourinho to bring on Coutrado, but at the end was screaming for him to be taken off again. He doesn't seem to have found his feet yet. Willian too runs forever, but with little or no end product. He may tackle back a lot but his attacking play needs to improve. I cant remember when he last scored (sorry)Without Hazard we would be lucky to be in the top four this season, and we cannot keep relying on his performances week in week out. I understand that we are 6 points clear with a game in hand, but boy are we making hard work of it. And looking at our run in, I think City have by far a lot easier run in than us. We have Arsenal (who are flying at present) Liverpool ( who are also gelling nicely for the run in ) and United (who are now back in the hunt for second and winning ugly when they have to) These three matches can, and will define our season, and if we don't cop on and start playing for the jersey instead of the money we will blow this. I might sound very negative but I've supported this club for 45 years and I have seen us shoot ourselves in the foot so many times that I feel entitled to feel this way. Okay, we took a point today, but it's Southampton we were playing, not Barcelona. We need to be winning these matches, and winning with confidence. I saw the players in the tunnel at half time having a team talk and I knew we would see a much better performance from them. Which begs the question, "Why the fuck couldn't they play like that from the start". So come on guys, get your act together, you have to kick on and win the league, it's not going to be handed to you.
