The question is either Oscar or Mata will start because Mourinho will revert back to 4-2-3-1. Schürrle? True, but we don't have many options against big teams. I rather see 4-2-3-1 but we are 2 player pieces (DM and in a lesser way a good striker) away for it to be viable against teams like Arsenal and City.

It's the other way around, 4-3-3 allows Lampard to press forward. With 4-2-3-1 lampard is far more limited.

Don't care about the line-up. I have my favorites that i want to start, but this match is too important to be stubborn. Judging Arsenal, it might be better to go 4-3-3. How do you guy's feel about that? 4-2-3-1 is my preferred line-up but we lack a quality DM next to Ramires and a Striker with killer instinct.

Strange he doesn't start Oscar seeïng how rusty he was against Crystal Palace. Was expecting Hazard to be left out entirely instead of Mata based on the last game. Dunno what to read into this towards the Arsenal game: does this guarantee Mazacar against Arsenal? But then again the match is still almost a week away wich should allow today's players to rest enough.

Guarin is a necessary addition for squad depth. Willian wasn't necessary but any top manager knows you don't say no to quality. Both transfer subjects where/are a target of hate. Alot of members on these forums need to learn that you can't snap you're fingers and buy a top quality player at each position at will (certainly not in the january transfer period).

Only reason to start KDB is to rest Willian/Hazard because he will prolly leave in january. Oscar is a nailed starter because he's still rusty, Schürrle too because he needs matches. Dunno about Mata, will probably start if Mourinho doesn't care about KDB. Looking further ahead i think Mourinho will replace Mata with Oscar against Arsenal if he has good performance tomorrow. Schürrle might replace Willian against Arsenal if he nails it tommorow, though i doubt it.

More like rest Willian and give Schürrle a shot, bloke hasn't played that much since Stoke.
