Tbh, our play wasn't that bad. Just look at our possession during the game (and away from home). I was a alot more frustrated by the type of football we played in our previous 2 league games.

Let it all go guys, im also mad but this just wasn't our day. Tbh, even when the season started i would already sign for a 3rd place finish hands down (looking at our squad). Some points i have: - We have the best defence in the league but tbh none of them add something going forward. Only Dave offers some kind of threat going forward. - Matic is a big improvement but he's no Yaya Touré (bombing forward). - Ramires is a runner but that's the only thing he offers. - Oscar needs space to be decisive. - Willian/Hazard are too similar, and i know Hazard is our biggest goal threat but he's not a natural goalscorer ala Ronaldo/Messi. not at a consistent pace. - Torres... don't get me started on him. - Schürrle lacks the technical ability and is only usefull against teams that give us acres of space. All things aside im still positive, and im looking forward to a statement from the lads against Gala.

A lively start for once

Mourinho was bullshiting last week about the injury imo, just for mindgames. Didn't he say something like "he felt something in his groin"? No surprise to me, he intended to start Eto'o from the getgo.

His statistics are very surprising to me. That didn't prevent him though to play in alot of big matches, and i doubt it that we would be at the same position in the league if he didn't play those matches. To me he is the biggest example that statistics don't say everything (Mata scored assisted alot last year, but we still ended 3rd). And i agree with you that he has a very stressful first year at Chelsea. He didn't have a preseason, had to displace KDB, Schürrle and Mata with sub appearences and all the while had the added stress to lock a spot for his national team. He will be alot more relaxed next year. Today he was excellent, should've had a couple assists. His playstyle is very similar to Hazard.

Still he displaced Mata, Schürrle and KDB. There's a reason for that, José sees it, the rest of the world sees it except you it seems. Liverpool and Tottenham where also keen on signing him for big money. The thing about him not cracking the brazilian national team is bullshit, same case as Fernandinho. Hell, Willian didn't even had a starting spot here when he got called up by Scolari. Was he suddenly worthy enough because he plays at Chelsea? In the end football is about results, not racking 4-5 goals a game. Willian btw has alot more defensive duties then Hazard.
