These mass killings are against armed rebels, civilian deaths are unfortunately a biproduct of conflict but he's not acting unprovoked. These aren't acts of genocide, he's fighting against a rebel army.

Which is exactly what we're doing in the middle east (although we are acting unprovoked), trying to fight the rebels but committing mass killings to civilians in the process.

These double standards are a clear sign of corruption.

So were you condemning the uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia as rebel armies trying to provoke a dictator? Do you follow Libyan state TV?

I'm not condemning anything, I'm just highlighting the double standards that point towards an agenda.

Well the thing is unlike Iraq, this has full UN backing and the suprise is that countries that would normally stop or slow down the process such as China or Russia have decided to abstain rather then veto it, so make of it what you will.

China and Russia have both abstained because they bump off their own people in Chechnya and Tibet.

Double standards going on here -youre .allowed to kill your own people in Bahrain, Oman , UAE, Saudi --Oh hang on, just a minute, we've got big BAe contracts with them and they supply oil for weapons and torture equipment, rightho......and as for 3 million killed in Congo , well fuck'em theyre not economic consumers.....

Show them oil and they west are on it like flies around shit.

Mmm. I know !! Lets fire 200 Cruise missiles (costing over £1m each) at ''strategic'' targets at a regime where the leader is a bit ''difficult'' with Africas biggest oil reserves, but ignore slaughter by even more mad despots, but are forthcoming with the oil. Hey we can dress it up as ''humanitarian''.......

''BBBBbuttttt didnt we do that in IRAQ?? ''

''Yeah and we got away with that......in fact wouldnt it be cool if we bombed them on the anniversary day that we attacked Iraq??''
