nit in order. im gona fukin die man headin into sophmore year........feel like crying

Keep your chin up and remember to revise (review) as you go and not to wait until the last moment and you'll thank yourself for it later. I'd also make a homework/revision timetable for evenings and weekends that way you know when you should be doing what. I know it sounds crazy but it will help in the end. Also you can change things as needed but at least you have a plan in place especially in the spring as you head toward your AP exams. JMHO

Alee, they take tests and year end exams in other years but the year 11 and 13 exams are the ones which are crucial.

yea the AP courses are at an accelerated pace so there really is no time to review per-say. and i hear you out, you been through this i imagine? its hell right?

Yes, in a manner of speaking you can say that I am familiar with it. More in the sense of been there done that and am on the other side of the marking pen now. So is my favorite person, zoyales ) So neither of us give studying/school advice lightly. I implemented the AP Chem program at the school I taught at before we moved to Asia. So I am very familiar with the AP program, but to be honest I am not convinced of the usefulness to students in science, I'd rather see a school offer 2-3 levels of a science then an AP course. I think the students get much more out of it that way. I work at a school now that does the iGCSE (UK curriculum) and IB exams. So I am familiar with both the US and UK curriculums. I stick by my advice above and revision can be something as simple is reviewing vocab terms, writing out notecards, making up a rhyme to help you remember a formula and can be for 15-30 minutes. Doing a little each day will help much more than sitting down and doing 5 hours in a day. Your more likely to remember it if you do it in little bits. The rhymes can be said as you are going up a flight of stairs, running, or any other common task.

it's good to see that you are sticking with the Maths and science :) so many don't want to after GCSE's are done.

Photography sounds interesting

Yeah I thought I would do photography so that I don't end up doing just academic subjects which could get a bit boring and I find it quite interesting as well :)

It's good to balance the academic subjects with a subject that you do just because you love it. I never took art or music in secondary school (i can't draw at all and need a bucket to carry a tune) and my school didn't offer many other options except for wood shop, auto mechanics (yes, auto repair), and home economics (sewing, cooking, decorating)... well, lets just say I stay as far away from that corridor as I possibly could! I'm a chemist so I am actually a decent cook, i have to admit having to convert all my recipes to metric has been fun :) finding ingredients is sometimes a challenge but it does give me something to do on days that are boring!

Congratulations to everybody who achieved the exam results they wanted! Having been through GCSE's, A Levels, and three years of half yearly accountancy examinations I know what it is like!

Not exactly exam results, but I've just been accepted a practising certificate from my membership body to practise accountancy and all related forms of my own free will.

I've already got a lot of ideas of how I'm going to approach this, including trying something which I don't think has any significant competition on the market, and can be operated on a national scale, unlike most small accountancy practices who operate on a local/regional scale. If I can pull something off, I'm hopefully looking at earning significantly more money (enough to support both myself and my wife), for effectively what will be less work and of that I can work from home and on a flexible schedule allowing me to spend more time with my daughter.

Good Luck and I hope it all works out
