Liquidator 5,176
it's good to see that you are sticking with the Maths and science so many don't want to after GCSE's are done.Photography sounds interestingYeah I thought I would do photography so that I don't end up doing just academic subjects which could get a bit boring and I find it quite interesting as well
BluesChick 1,260
Yeah I thought I would do photography so that I don't end up doing just academic subjects which could get a bit boring and I find it quite interesting as well It's good to balance the academic subjects with a subject that you do just because you love it. I never took art or music in secondary school (i can't draw at all and need a bucket to carry a tune) and my school didn't offer many other options except for wood shop, auto mechanics (yes, auto repair), and home economics (sewing, cooking, decorating)... well, lets just say I stay as far away from that corridor as I possibly could! I'm a chemist so I am actually a decent cook, i have to admit having to convert all my recipes to metric has been fun finding ingredients is sometimes a challenge but it does give me something to do on days that are boring! Superblue 6,372
Congratulations to everybody who achieved the exam results they wanted! Having been through GCSE's, A Levels, and three years of half yearly accountancy examinations I know what it is like! Not exactly exam results, but I've just been accepted a practising certificate from my membership body to practise accountancy and all related forms of my own free will.I've already got a lot of ideas of how I'm going to approach this, including trying something which I don't think has any significant competition on the market, and can be operated on a national scale, unlike most small accountancy practices who operate on a local/regional scale. If I can pull something off, I'm hopefully looking at earning significantly more money (enough to support both myself and my wife), for effectively what will be less work and of that I can work from home and on a flexible schedule allowing me to spend more time with my daughter.
