I've set up a debateable thread here, determining which teams in Southern America are the best right now.

Flamengo have signed Ronaldinho recently which is massive for them, you have Corinthians with Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo on their books.

Cruzeiro, Ramires' former club are pretty big. I remember Juan Pablo Sorin playing for them at one stage

Santos currently nurturing Ganso and Neymar right now.

In fact, I've decided to set up a list of pretty decent teams in South America at the moment.....

- Boca Juniors

- Flamengo

- Internacional

- Cruzeiro

- Independiente

- River Plate

- C.A. Banfield

- Sao Paulo

Then of course, you have some top teams from Major League Soccer... would you say a competition like the Copa Libertadores is as mind blowing as the Champions League??

Fluminese are a Brazilian team and they have Deco, Belletti and a player called Fred who plays Striker and i think is supposed to be good. Belive they finished 1st last season.

Copa Libertadores is great competition. Very popular but imo Champions League is better organised and better football is played in Champions League.

The Boca Juniors - River Plate rivalry is intense. Forget West Ham - Millwall... this is the real shit.
