chrismada9 1,948
I've set up a debateable thread here, determining which teams in Southern America are the best right now.Flamengo have signed Ronaldinho recently which is massive for them, you have Corinthians with Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo on their books. Cruzeiro, Ramires' former club are pretty big. I remember Juan Pablo Sorin playing for them at one stageSantos currently nurturing Ganso and Neymar right now.In fact, I've decided to set up a list of pretty decent teams in South America at the moment..... - Corinthians - Estudiantes de la Plata - Boca Juniors - Flamengo - Internacional - Santos - Cruzeiro - Independiente - River Plate - C.A. Banfield - Sao Paulo - Chivas de Guadalajara - Colo-Colo (Chile) - Once Caldas (Colombia)Then of course, you have some top teams from Major League Soccer... would you say a competition like the Copa Libertadores is as mind blowing as the Champions League?? LDN Blue 7,903
would you say a competition like the Copa Libertadores is as mind blowing as the Champions League??Well.. Ronaldo said, that's the one competition he wants to win before he retires, so I think it's pretty big over there

eldo 868
Copa Libertadores is great competition. Very popular but imo Champions League is better organised and better football is played in Champions League.
BlueLion. 21,491
Supporters in Latin America are amazing. I love listening to their supporters more than watching the game!
Ollie 4,400
The Boca Juniors - River Plate rivalry is intense. Forget West Ham - Millwall... this is the real shit.
BluesChick 1,260
The MLS is no where as interesting as European or South American football. imo
