Oh. Yeah you're probably right. This is the first cup I've ever played in and I got a fairly average championship side. I was expecting to get much tougher teams.

Has anyone else noticed that form training is way too expensive relative to how little results it yields?

It depends on how much form the player has at the time, what their development value is and how many games they have been given. Players playing regularly will not develop in training as much as a youngster who plays infrequently but has a high dev. value.

Wow, I'm surprised you've been as successful as you have with those bad eggs in the squad. As far as negative qualities go, my team is as clean as it gets, the only negative I have in the entire squad is one greedy player, and that’s it.

lol yeah, I got all those players when I first registered two seasons ago, I didn't buy any of them. Though greedy players can prove to be very useful when there is a win bonus, but under-perform otherwise.

When I first started, the first thing I did was get rid of all the players with negative qualities, even if they were good.

Not all negative qualities are bad though, like you said. Greedy & cheating players can be useful. I'm surprised you've been successful with two Diva's & two Moody players in the team though.

I lost 3 of my first 5 games last season, including my first 2 but ended up 2nd.

Doesn't the cup end near enough the same time we get to the halfway point of the season, putting that into consideration it makes sense for the people who make this game to create an option of 2 cup competition's in the same season.
